As long as I could remember; I had always had the dream that one day I will become a famous writer. Indeed I was mocked by many but that never did care what they thought nor what they said behind my back, all that I really cared about was achieving my dream. Many people who I held dear to my heart left including my own family but I still had to move forward to achieve my dream.
Eventually after many years of struggle I finally got recognized for my work, my book ''Left in the dark'' had gotten so popular that a famous publisher wanted to publish the book in hard-copy. Not only that, my once cold family started warming up to me and giving me the support I had long ever since I was child.
Odds had just begun to being in my favor. On the day of launch for my book I had been twenty minutes late and I begun to rush; I didn't known a car so I head to run but the heels that I had been wearing were slowing me down so I removed my heels and ran with bare feet. The ground was rather painful to run on, glasses and rocks had covered the road but I had to suck up the pain and continued on with my journey.
I had stopped at the intersection due to the light had turned red, I took a moment of rest as I waited for the light to turn green. I had switched my attention to a small little girl with a puppy, the girl had been dirty all over and wore rags so I knew she had been living on the streets but never the less she seemed very happy with the small dog and I happily gave them a soft smile.
The light had become green and I was prepared to continue but then a man with a black jacket and mask snatched an old woman's bag and began running away, one of the man who had been next to me tried to stop him but failed he got pushed back so far that he bummed into the little girl and she fell on the road. Her leg had gotten injured and she couldn't stand up, the small dog tried to help her up but fail. A big truck began driving towards them and the little girl pulled her dog in for a hug and started shedding tears.
With no hesitation I jumped into action and quickly grab the girl and threw her away from the road and before I could go out of the road, a big flash of light appeared before my eyes and I felt so much pain coming from all parts of my body, my vision became blurry until it went all black.
Ever since that incident I have walking alone in this endless void of darkness. From a young age I was always afraid of the dark so by me being here alone I felt so scared that without realizing it my eyes had been overflowing with tears. I stopped to wipe my tears and a bright light appeared before me and I opened my eyes and saw a bright figure that had wings covering its face, the figure had a comforting energy so I eased down.
''W-Who are you?''
''I rather have a great number of names and for the time being I have the name of Raphael.''
''Wait Raphael!? Isn't that a name of an angel.''
''Yes and I Raphael am your guardian angel.''
''Wait what! I have a guardian, so all those tells about everyone having a guardian is true.''
''Yes every human soul has a angel bound to it.''
''I see so are you here to take me to the afterlife?'' I questioned.
''No.''
''Aren't guardians only suppose to show themselves when its time for their host to enter the afterlife. If not why are you here?''
''I'm here to give you another chance at life.''
''What!? Aren't angels not allowed to do such!''
''We aren't but I took pity on you, human.''
''Pity?''
''I have observed you ever since you were born. Despite being forgotten countless times by your family you still forgave them, even when your own best friend stole your lover you forgave her, when your brothers constantly bullied you at school you still forgave them. No matter who's the person you would still forgave and all for what, nothing.''
