After dropping the twins off at their home, I drive down the streets to head back to my house. My mother's car wasn't there when I pulled into the driveway, but I don't think much of it.
Unlocking the front door with my keys, I take off my shoes, shutting the door behind myself. Making my way to the kitchen to grab a snack.
Walking inside, I see a sticky note on the fridge from my mother: Went to the store for some groceries, I'll be back in a bit! I'll get some pizza for lunch too so don't worry about it.
Smiling at the note, I take it off the fridge door, she has a phone but prefers to write things down physically which I found funny. Opening the door, I grab a can of soda before closing it, heading up the stairs to my room.
Opening my bedroom door, I drop my hoodie onto the chair by my desk before letting myself fall onto my bed. I smiled as I pulled out my phone from my back pocket, unlocking it to open Instagram and check out Y/n's account without feeling one of the twins looking over my shoulders.
Clicking onto it, her account was private, not many followers nor many followings, but I didn't mind. Her posts were just a few pictures, either of her taking a mirror picture or a selfie, holding a small plushie as she smiled genuinely at the camera.
I found myself liking the pictures before I realized what I was doing. Clicking the comments section I left a comment on her most recent post.
Her profile picture lit up a few seconds later, clicking on it I smiled as I took a look at it. It was Y/n smiling as she was wearing her casual clothes with the caption 'Going back home!' I left a heart reaction before it finished.
Heading into my dms, I click on a new message, pressing Y/n's name as I begin to type something out. Clicking send, I log out, scrolling through the rest of the stories from people that I followed. Quickly pressing through them to the next without leaving any comments nor reactions.
Not long after, my phone rang with another notification from Y/n.
