The poor boy had already fallen asleep from exhaustion, waiting excitedly for today to get here already.

And his planning had done him well the previous day, Atsumu had sent him a screenshot of the party details and where it was going to be held at.

What he failed to notice was that he seemed to already know the direction from somewhere, but he couldn’t quite figure out why.

He spent the rest of his morning in bed for a few more hours, listening to music before his mother told him to stop lazing around since it was well past 1 p.m on a Sunday.

Barging into his room, she turned on his television that was placed in front of his bed on the other wall to lighten up his room. Suna throwing the blankets over his face at the sudden brightness.

“Come Rintarou, isn’t that party today?” She asked, pulling the curtains out of the way to let the sunlight spill inside.

Suna groaned as he knew what she was going to do next, gripping the blankets as tight as he could in his tired state, “Yes, but it isn’t until 8 at night.”

Suna whined as his mother chuckled, pulling the blankets off him and onto the desk at the other end, forcing Suna to stand up and grab them again. “Why not pick out the clothes you’ll wear already?” She asked, ruffling Suna’s hair before walking out of his room once she was sure he wouldn’t go back to sleep.

Suna didn’t want to get out of bed, pulling a pillow over his head once she left, but he did agree with his mother's
suggestion.

Getting out of his bed, he walked over to his closet, it was getting a bit chilly at night now with winter soon rolling in. And he wasn’t sure on what Y/n would be wearing to the party anyways, pulling out his favorite black leathered jacket just in case.

He settled on a pair of tight gray fitting jeans along with a black turtleneck that
sharpened his features, putting on his gold rings on both of his hands.

Grabbing the remote to his television, he turned it off, grabbing his phone on his way out as he read Y/n’s message from last night. Grinning, he typed a message back to her, telling her
he was sorry and that he had already fallen asleep but wishing her a good morning.

Stretching, he walked down stairs to the living room after grabbing some junk food.

Sitting down on the corner of the sofa as he stared outside the window at the door walker that walked down the street before walking out of sight.

His mother rounded the corner into the living room with the broom in her hand as she shook her head at his poor food choice.

“What had you so tired last night anyways?”

She asked as she fixed the other sofa, dusting off any extra dust.

Suna turned his eyes down to the floor, feeling slightly embarrassed, but at least it was his mother and not the twins asking. “Well remember that girl I told you about?”

“Yes, what about her?”

He smiled, “Well I asked the twins for the details regarding the party and Atsumu sent me the information and she agreed to come with me tonight!” He explained, happy that she had given him a chance.

His mother smiled too, happy to see her son being so cheerful with this new girl he was talking to. She was more than sure she would like her too.

“Will you be picking her up?”

“Yeah, I said I’d pick her up around 7, asking her to send me her address by then.” Suna confessed, feeling a bit self conscious about the inside of his care, what if it was a bit too messy?

His mother smiled, holding a knowing look on her face as she turned to the front door with a bag in her hand, “Come on,” she called waving for Suna to follow after her.

Suna stood up confused, but followed after his mother anyways, “What are you doing?”

She didn’t reply instead telling him to unlock his car, “WE are going to clean up YOUR car.” She said, shoving the trash bag into his chest before gathering any of the trash inside. Helping him out a bit before giving him some pointers and heading back inside to make lunch.
Suna appreciated his mother, getting the rest of the car clean while she went back inside.

With about a solid ten minutes of cleaning the inside of his car and was now satisfied with how it looked, heading back inside as he threw away the trash bag.

Stepping into the kitchen he asked his mother if he should add anything to the inside of his car, “I feel like it’s missing somethin but I don’t really know.”

She thought about it, agreeing with his statement, “Why not place a few blankets in the back seat in case she
gets cold?” She suggested scratching her chin in thought.

And he did, grabbing two of the fluffiest spare blankets he could find, placing them nicely into a pile in the back seat.

He couldn't wait for tonight.
