"I'm off to town, mom!" I screamed as I stood halfway trough the front door in my 'Ramones' t-shirt and black skinny jeans -which Ana forced me to wear-, waiting for a response.

"What? Where?" she panicked.

"I'm going for a walk in the city... You know, get to know the neighbourhood." I didn't want her to know about the concert and the tickets, so she wouldn't ask a lot of questions.

"But, school starts in 2 days."

"Mom, that's exactly why I want to go out." I kissed her cheek, rushing out the door.

"Be back by 11:30!" she screamed after me. My curfview usually wasn't this late. A part of me was still thinking wheter I should stay home and watch 'The Theory of the Big Bang'. I put on my black leather jacket and glanced at Curly's house. His car was gone and the lights were off. He wasn't there.

"Thank the Milka Gods."

I walked slowly to the bus stop, watching the sunset. 7 pm and it was almost dark. Not the kind of thing I was used to. I got on a big red bus and sat on the upper floor, not caring too much about the cold. I sat there, wind messing with my hair, as I waited for the bus to move in the middle of a traffic jam. If I'm stuck here, at least I'll have a nice excuse for why I couldn't come to the concert.

I grasped the ticket and backstage pass in my pocket tighter as I walked off the bus. I headed to the 'VIP' entrance, thankfully not bumping into anyone I know. The tickets were pretty good, if you call the front row 'good'. I sat next to a bunch of models blabbing about Burberry's newest collection, and wanted to rip my head off.

"I wonder is the fact that Harry has seats next to models a coincidence." I thought, my eyes locked on the empty seat next to me. Maybe he was serious about not coming.

The lights went out just as the models passed from Victoria's Secret to 'how come Cheryl Cole can still be in the music buisness'. A real amusing conversation I didn't have to listen to anymore.

I swear I cried as much as the day I was born troughout the entire show. Even the models and a bunch of other people had to shush me.

As soon as it finished, and I wiped away the last of many tears, I felt a tickle on my shoulder.

"Need a tissue?" an all too familliar voice whispered in my ear, my heart beating faster. I turned around to see Mr. Boyband smiling at me.

"Not if it's from you. I thought you weren't supposed to come." I smiled. "Did you miss me that much."

"First, I said you wouldn't see me here, and you didn't. Second, a day without you isn't worth living, my love." I wanted to puke. I truly hope he's kidding. He looked towards the stage, grabbing my hand.

"Let me go, you lunatic! Where are we going?!"

"We're going to meet Ed." He continued running until we reached the stage. "She's with me." he said as an answer to a security guard, running pass him.

"Save me!!!" I mouthed those words towards him. We entered a small white room. I'm guessing we're backstage.

"Harry brought his date!!!" Louis screamed as soon as he saw us, running our way. Harry rolled his eyes as a few other guys followed Louis.

"So, this is the Cara we've been hearing about for so long." an athletic-looking boy with hardly any hair approached us as I raised my eyebrow.

"Liam," Louis hit the guy's head. "this is Carter. Cara is so last week." Harry blushed, letting go of my hand.

"Oh, sorry. I'm Liam." he reached his hand towards me.

"Carter." I shook it. "It's spelled C-A-R-T-E-R, not Cara."

"What's the craic?" a blonde boy with an Irish accent appeared out of nowhere.

"Niall, this is Carter."

"Oh, the Carter." the Niall guy murmered under his breath. Him and that Liam character looked so familliar.

"Carter," Harry put one of his hands on my shoulder. I immidiately shooed it down. "this is Niall. He and Liam are also in the band with me." That's why they looked familliar. I got to meet the rest of the boyband. Any other girl would faint by now.

"Wait, there's four of you?" I said, suprised. Everyone chuckled, Louis looking at me in a 'you-really-have-no-idea-who-we-are' way.

"Actually," Liam continued, looking towards the hallway. In a matter of a second, a guy with jet black hair with a blond streak in the middle, and an arm covered in tattoos, rushed towards us. "there's five of us."

"Vas Happenin?" he screamed.

"Zayn, this is Harry's girlfriend, Carter." Louis put one hand on his shoulder, introducing me in a really, really wrong way.

"Hold up," I snapped. "No offence, but just having him living next door is bad enough. I think he's annoying and I'm pretty sure that's not a great way to start a 'relationship'." All members of One Direction were looking at me in shock.

"Lou," Niall said. "I think she's a bigger sass queen than you." Louis rolled his eyes, as I covered mine with my palm.

"Lads! I'm really happy to see you here." Ed Sheeran himself entered the room in all of his ginger glory. He looked at me, my heart almost stopping. "I don't think I know you."

"Carter? She's Harry's-"

"Neighbour... Acquaintance." I cut Louis off, a smile plastered across my face.

"Nice to meet you, Carter." Ed winked at me and I swear I went weak in the knees. This was a dream come true. Well, if you'd ignore One Direction's presence.

"Even better to meet you."

"Sigh. No, you don't at all sound like a dork, Carter."

Ed smiled, hiding an uncomfrtable face. Even he thinks I'm weird.

Harry poked me as Ed picked up a conversation with the rest of the band. "What now, Styles?"

"Well, a thank you would be nice..."

"I don't know. I think a brick in your face would suit you better." he smirked. Why was he so annoying?

"Cranky much?"

"I swear I'll rip your curls right off your skull." he pouted.

"Just get married already!" Zayn screamed.

"We can do it by jumping out of an aeroplane."

"Deal. I'll be the groom." I continued.

"Hey, Lou! Wanna be my maid of honor?"

"Count on me, Curly. But don't you dare put me in a dress that makes me look like a fat cow!" I started to realise why did people call him 'Sass Queen'.

I asked Ed for an autograph. Yeah, not at all fangirly of me. A few other people joined us a while after. It was getting kind of crowded.

If you'd ignore the fact that I was stuck in a room with a boyband for half an hour, you could say I hat a pretty good time. I looked at my phone; two missed calls and it's almost 11. I should go catch the bus if I don't want to spend the rest of my life grounded.

"I have to go." I waived. "Bye."

"Bye." Ed saluted as butterflies appeared in my stomach. I walked out the door as Harry showed up beside me.

"I'll take you home. It's not the best idea to go alone at this time at night."

"Okay." I unwillingly walked with him towards his Range Rover.
