Soon the news of the crash spread around the different news stations, to make matters worse, more sightings of Shadow were spotted but now Rapidash wasn't present. Ulala soon worried for the lives of people, Morolian's and Pokémon around, she had to stop it somehow but she couldn't figure out how.
One sunset, Ulala was overlooking Space City with Eevee while the twins played around on their phones until Lou was watching a dash cam video.

Lou: geez, some people really try to scam people
Kie: is that a dash cam video?
Lou: yep, most vehicles and spaceships have them

Ulala was overhearing the conversation, she didn't think much of it, but then she remembered the day of the crash, she saw a tiny device sitting on the dashboard of the car, then she got a lightbulb moment.

Ulala: dash cams?...
Lou: huh?
Ulala: you said that most vehicles in spaceships have dash cams right?
Lou: yeah?
Kie: what are you getting at?
Ulala: I saw some sort of device on the dashboard of the car that Lusamine was driving, what if that was a dash cam
Lou: (gasps) and then we'll be able to find Shadow
Kie: and possibly save everyone
Ulala: ok, I'll go and find Lusamine, you four find that dash cam
Kie: four?

Zacian barked in disgust, The girls turned around.

Lou: oh, sorry boys

The girls split up in different directions.

Ulala got to the hospital and looked through the windows with Eevee on her shoulder, she eventually found Lusamine, Ulala knocked on the window.

Lusamine: huh?
Ulala: open the window, we need to talk....

Lou and Kie made it to the crash site, there was an eerie feeling in the air.

Lou: ok boy, sniff out that device

Zacian started sniffing around the air, Zamazenta just started looking through the windows of cars. Kie turned to her sister in worry.

Kie: are you sure that it's even here?
Lou: it's a possibility

Zamazenta then approached Kie with the device in his mouth.

Lou: it that it?
Kie: yes, good boy

Zamazenta dropped the device in Kie's hands. Lou then got it to work and they saw the whole crash. They saw Shadow and heard him talking. Kie kept fast forwarding.

Kie: what do you think he's talking about?
Lou: wait! Stop skimming!

Kie stopped and they saw Pine in the camera, they listened in.

Officer: what do we tell the press?
Pine: it was just a freak accident, I don't want that outer planet joint trying to figure out what's happening, they've already made our jobs a nightmare. Besides, nobody can know that Shadow caused this

Lou and Kie were stunned, Pine knew and was documenting the attacks.

Lou: we gotta go see Pine
Kie: we're going to bust this open, come on boys

The twins wasted no time in getting to the EVSPD. Lou and Kie knocked on the door of Pine's office, Pine told them to come in, they shut the door and sat down.

Pine: can I help you girls?
Lou: we know what happened on the day of the collision
Pine: what?
Kie: we found a dash cam in the car Lusamine was driving on the day

Lou showed her the device.

Pine: right, guess I'll have to come clean

Pine pulled out a few folders and handed them to the girls. They looked through them all and were shocked, there were ultra beasts in the folders, but there were multiple.

Pine: they live in the ultra dimension, and Lusamine knows how to open the wormhole to get there, she did it before, that was a few years after she lost her husband
Lou: but what is the purpose of the rhythm rouges opening the ultra wormhole?
Pine: they are probably looking for Necrozma
Kie: Necrozma?
Pine: it's the most powerful ultra beast, it is able to absorb Solgaleo or Lunala, if either absorbed for long enough Necrozma can become Ultra Necrozma. If the Rhythm rouges get they're hands on it they will have every single ultra beast at their disposal and they will be unleashed our galaxy
Lou: that won't happen since Ulala saved Lusamine

Pine looked at her in confusion.

Pine: saved?
Kie: Shadow spared her, that's how she escaped
Pine: spared?

Pine's expression changed from confusion to worry and concern.

Lou: she told us that he looked at her like a goddess
Pine: ok never mind that, where is she now?
Kie: at the hospital? Why?
Pine: oh no...
