The ride home was silent, with Pha driving back singlehandedly the entire time, one on the wheel and the one on my hand.

By the time we got back to my dorm, it was nearly 11.30pm. I told him to stay over since it was really late. Pha agreed. By the time we got into bed, it was 1am. I got him to be on the bed whilst I took the couch. He refused adamantly and dragged me to the bed. We both laid on the bed, I was almost not breathing as it was the first time I had someone on my bed. Pha just chuckled at my behaviour and turned to face me. I turned to look at him.

"Come here." Pha beckoned me over. I scooted over a little closer to him. He put his hand over me and pulled me in closer.

"Just sleep OK? Things will be better. Your brother definitely loves you and that doesn't change. And don't worry, I promised your mum we will look after you too so you are in good hands. And you can go visit them during holidays ok."

I nodded and looked at Pha. He smiled at me and I just finally laid my head closer towards him, on his chest. I felt his heartbeat, thudding away. The beats lulled me and soon I fell fast asleep.

When I woke up hours later, the bed was empty. I sat up groggily, wondering where Pha was. Just then the door opened and Pha came in.

"Awake?"

"Hmmm."

"Hungry? I bought food. Come eat?"

"Hmmmm"

I grunted. I was still sleepy. Pha kept the food away and came and sat next to me. I just inched closer to him and laid my chin on his shoulder. He laughed. I just grunted and nestled closer to him, unaware of how I was making him feel. I just knew that the closer I got to him, the faster my heart beat. But for some reason, I couldn't pull away from him. I just wrapped my hands around him and nestled comfortably.

I didn't realize it but I fell asleep again. When I woke up, it was almost 3pm. I caught Pha next to me on the bed, reading away. I turned to him and he smiled down at me.

"Wake up already ok? You need to eat and it's already afternoon."

This time I nodded, got out of bed, showered and came out, fresh faced. Pha served me food and I just watched him. He laid it out and was about to walk away when I grabbed his hand.

He turned to me in surprise and I just opened my mouth and pointed to the food. I swear, if he could kill me, he would with the way he glared at me.

But what he did next shut me up for good. He sat down and fed me.

Ahem. PHA FREAKING FED ME.
