I turned over to see my boyfriend sleeping away peacefully. He was on his stomach, his eyes closed and a small smile over his face as he slept.

I look at him and wonder endlessly, how did we end up where we are now. We started off as Nong and Phi, quarrelling endlessly. When did we start growing a soft spot for one another? When did he become my go to person when I was feeling upset over my mom and brother?

And most importantly, when did he become this important to me, that now I cannot imagine another day without me.

Just as I was lost in my thoughts, Pha opened his eyes. "Hey.." He whispered sleepily. He smiled and was about to close his eyes when I blurted out, "Will you move in with me?"

Pha opened his eyes when he heard that. He looked at me, stumped. "What..?"

"I asked if you would move in with me"

Pha looked at me in silence, stunned. I smiled at him and moved in closer, taking him into my arms.

"I love you Phana. You have become such an important part of my life that I can see myself waking up daily to your face. And I want that. Which is why I'm asking you, will you move in with me? To my dorm?"

Pha looked at me in silence, his face reddening slowly and he finally broke into a smile, nodding his head.

"Yes I would. I would, I would. I would."

I smiled at him and pulled him in closer, putting the next step to our love story in motion.
