I left it in the dark for too long
I need a shoulder to cry on
I need a solace
But I won't admit it
There are things hard to face
Things that are left in the dark...

( Before we start I want to make it clear that Taemin's original name is Lee Song Kwang. Hope you are not confused.
Also, There will be graphic depiction of crime and violence in future. So beware)

" Are you kidding me right now!!?" Taehyung roars. This is beyond what he can take. How can a small kid murder someone? Is Taemin drunk right now? He must be.
Taemin just remains silent which angers Taehyung even more.
He strides towards Taemin in angry steps before pulling him up from his seat by collar.
" Answer me God dammit!!" Taehyung screams at his face but Taemin remains unfazed.
" Listen to me first..
Then decide." Taemin says.
Taehyung scoffs and then lets go of the older.
Taemin starts to narrate his story again.
" That day when Jimin showed up covered in blood I had no idea what I was getting myself into by helping him.."

The day when Jimin went to (Song Kwang) Taemin's home everything changed.
" Jimin-ah, what happened? Can you please tell us?" Taemin's mother asked the young Jimin who was still shivering in the arms of Taemin. The food was long forgotten.

The sound of front door opening made them all turn towards it .
" Mom? Song Kwang?" Taemin's hyung called out as he entered the home.
He stopped in his tracks after spotting the scene in front of him.
Clothes covered in bright crimson laid in the corner, his brother was holding a kid in his arms, supposedly his friend. His mother's face was etched with worry.
" Son.." His mother called out helplessly.
" What's wrong?" He asked his mother, his eyes focused on the young kid who was shivering badly.
" Hyung.." Taemin sighed as he looked at Jimin.
" Jimin-ah," He softly called out to Jimin, indicating that it was safe there and he had nothing to be scared of.
" Can you please explain what you said earlier?," He asked carefully.

" Hyung...A-appa would be m-mad at m-me," The poor kid stuttered out.
" No Jimin," It was Taemin's hyung who spoke this time.
" He won't be able to say anything if you tell us the truth. You trust Song Kwang don't you?," Taemin's hyung said further, assuring Jimin.

" A-appa made me...he..he made me.." Jimin started to hyperventilate and Taemin rubbed his back.
" Shh... it's okay...Take your time..", He spoke soothingly.
The words that slipped out of the younger's mouth next, shocked everyone on that room to the unimaginable extent.

At present, Taehyung is shocked beyond expression. He just doesn't know what to say any further.
He slowly gathers himself and asks the question lingering in his head.
" So.. Jimin's biological father made him murder someone? That's what you're saying right?" He asks, looking expectedly towards the older, wishing that all of this is just a dream.
Taemin simply nods before adding details which set Taehyung's mind on fire.
" Not only that...All the times Jimin showed up with bruises it was his father.." Taemin chuckles.
" I was a fool to have not noticed it earlier. He never brought up his family you see. Sometimes he just told me about his mother, about how gentle she was with him, how he was always very excited to meet her at every month's end. His parents were divorced just like ours. Maybe that's why I was drawn to him very quickly.
He told me everything and anything but...never a single mention of his father slipped out of his tongue. Whenever I asked he just kept silent or changed the topic..." Taemin chuckles again, as if mocking his own old self.
" Lee Song Kwang...was so stupid. But not Lee Taemin."
The sentence made Taehyung shudder. He wants to know more. What could have happened to change their fates so drastically? And why does Jimin not remember anything? He has so many questions but no answers..
" What happened next hyung?" He asks and Taemin just looks at him. His eyes have so many feelings, pain, anger, disappointment, shame.. He could swear the man in front of him had so many unsaid things, so many feelings hidden behind that mask of nonchalance.
" Next?... Something we could have never imagined happened. "
