Chapter 5: Backup Ship

*Flashback*

The group of soldiers rush towards the ship and frantically look around for seats.
Armin and Saf find a seat next to each other and they high five in joy, then Jerwin approaches the both of them.

"Hey, there's no seats left, can you give one up?" Jerwin asked

"Uhm no sorry, there's always the backup ship Jerwin!" Saf replied

"Alright then" Jerwin said as he walked off

"Wait, Jerwin can I come with you?" A soldier asked

"Sure Darre, you are my best mate after all" Jerwin replied happily

"At least I won't be alone there" Jerwin replied to himself

Jerwin and Darre leave the ship as another soldier takes Darre's old seat.

"Right so you ten didn't get a seat, now I will escort you to the backup ship" Robin Announced

The soldiers were lead through many rooms and many hallways, the hallways were decorated in a blue, white paint scheme the original colours for the Maverick logo.

Finally after what felt like 5 minutes of walking the were Infront of the backup ship, a fully grey tall ship, which had a metal band of what looked like silver wrapping around either side of the ship.

"Right, everyone get on, you'll be dispatched first before the main ship, your job is to get there and take out as many enemy groups as possible while at that point the main ship will have arrived and they will find and kill Daven any questions?" Robin Shouted

"No sir" a soldier replied

"Good we're ready to leave then, now I'm going to leave now have a safe trip"

Before they knew it they had sat down and had been launched into space, the vast ocean of stars that glisten in the darkness, the only source of light, right up ahead it the Raven base, the one they were looking for, it was coated in Raven logo's signalling it was the one, what was weird that in the distance they could see the main ship approaching them, what was weird about it was that the main ship wasn't supposed to be launched right after them. Was it a malfunction?

But before their questions can be answered all the lights in the ship go out, the entire ship loses power.

"Jerwin we lost power!" Darre shouts to Jerwin

But Jerwin is just sat down in silence before a huge crashing noise almost like a missile had hit their ship boomed throughout the cabins, the thing was a missile did actually hit the ship and as Jerwin snapped back into reality the only thing he could see was his crewmates clinging onto their seats for dear life.

Jerwin stands up and grabs Darre's hands pulling him to the other half of the ship as another missile hits the ship sending their comrades flying out the ship.

Darre launches Jerwin out the range of the suction and hides him behind a row of seats and as Jerwin peeks the corner all he could see was Darre being sucked out of the ship Into the void of space.

Jerwin emerges from his hiding spot and clutches the side of the seats avoiding being sucked out as he waits for the third missile to hit him, he can already hear it hissing through space ready to attack.

He closes his eyes as a thundery boom rang in his ears and a large explosion of flames engulfs him killing him, and destroying the rest of the ship along with him. It was at that point the main ship had realised what had happened....
