It's coming down on me Water like misery It's coming down on me I'm ready, rain on me I'd rather be dry, but at least I'm alive Rain on me, rain, rain Rain on me, rain, rain I'd rather be dry, but at least I'm alive Rain on me, rain, rain Rain on me
It's weekend again already. My weekdays were okay as my presentation went well on Monday. The client was satisfied with the design made by our team so our work at the office slowed down a bit during the following days.
Usually I spent my weekends with Jimin and since he hadn't come back from the US, now I felt a bit awkward.
Ahh what should I do now? I said to myself as I stretched my body on my bed. I took a glance at the wall clock.
It's already 9? Gosh, did I just pass out during the night? Again I said to myself as I rolled my body to the left side of the bed. I felt too lazy to get up. But then I heard a loud rumble coming from my tummy.
Oh right, I skipped dinner last night. No wonder you are groaning so loudly.
I remembered how I ended up gulping down some beer after getting home yesterday and I guess I just passed out while drinking. It could be clearly seen by the scattered cans on my bedside table. I had endured my urge to have ones since Monday-to celebrate the success of a nerve-wracking but satisfying presentation at work. I dragged myself towards the bathroom, brushed my teeth and washed my face before I went to my closet and changed my outfits. I put on my simple black t-shirt with a pair of high-waisted shorts. Then I grabbed my wallet and phone, and shoved them inside my sling bag. I decided to take a walk and have some breakfast outside.

I slowly walked down the road towards the bus stop after having a quick breakfast at a nearby eatery. The weather was quite nice to have a light walk so I considered myself roaming around Han river. But when I got there, I was a little bit disappointed as plenty of clouds were suddenly hanging above.
"How can the weather change so suddenly," I hissed annoyedly as I slowly walked around the park. There were lots of couples mingling, making me feel a little bit envious.
"Oh I wish I could just freely mingle with my baby like that." I huffed heavily. Then I sat down under a tree and stared blankly towards the river wondering what my baby boy was doing there. I had sent him a message earlier today but he hadn't replied to it yet.
I took out my favorite book and started reading. It was a not-so-new novel entitled Flower, another masterpiece by Satang-my favorite author. Her work has become another source of strength for me since I lived alone in Seoul. I could sense some kind of cold side through her words but at the same time, they spread out warmth and comfort to the readers, I guess that's why she became so popular nowadays. And about this copy, this was the latest work of her which I bought a couple of months ago but could barely finish it. My mind was sinking deep into the novel when the rain started to sprinkle. I hurriedly put my novel inside my sling bag and looked up to the sky. While other people scattered around to find shelter from the rain, I stayed still in my sitting spot as I thought this kind of sprinkle might stop soon. But then the rain started to pour more heavily, I quickly ran while covering my head with my sling bag.
