One month had gone by since San's breakup with Mina. He was surprised at how well things were going for him after they terminated their relationship. He decided on selling his old house; he wanted to start over with a clean slate. His firm received many new clients, which gave him the opportunity to open a new place. Mina and him still saw each other during meetings and at the courts, as they promised.
Today was finally Mingi's wedding and San was the godfather. After his separation, Mingi turned into his psychologist. After the incident at San's house, Wooyoung ended things and they lost communication. Mingi mentioned that Wooyoung would be at the wedding so San was determined to have a conversation with him. After that, if Wooyoung still decided on not being with him, he would respect it. He knew how messed up his actions were, still he wanted to clarify he never intended on playing with Wooyoung.
When San entered, the venue looked straight out of a fairytale. The decoration was very minimalistic with cream and burgundy colors. Mingi looked happy as usual; San remembered the first date the couple had gone to.
- Are you sure you'll be okay? I know there's a lot of people here that you don't know. - Mingi wanted him there but he understood his situation.
- Don't worry. I'll just wait for Wooyoung and see if he wants to talk to me after the ceremony. - San had to be realistic, he couldn't have any expectations.
- Speaking of the devil... - Mingi pointed to the entrance with his head. The most awaited person of the night finally arrived.
Wooyoung walked in turning heads as usual. He was wearing a burgundy suit and his hair was up in a half updo. His simplicity and unique features were the things that caught San's attention when they met for the first time. San knew he still had feelings for him when his heart skipped a beat as he came to congratulate Mingi.
- Don't you look stunning? Ugh, that designer of yours. - Wooyoung said playfully. He completely ignored San's presence.
- Woo, thank you so much for coming. Yunho and I loved the suits you designed for us. For today I only need you to enjoy the party. I have to go say hi to the rest of the guests. Make yourself at home. - Mingi hugged him before leaving.
San and Wooyoung were left alone. The silence was uncomfortable and they were avoiding eye contact. San made the first move; he stood up, walking closer to Wooyoung.
- Hi. You look amazing tonight. Well, you always do... - San was nervous.
- Thank you. Now, if you excuse me... - Wooyoung tried to leave but San grabbed him by the waist.
- Woo please, let me talk to you. -
- About what? You think I'll just forgive you for what you did to me? - Wooyoung was still hurt.
- I'm not expecting anything from you. Just give me a chance to explain myself. -
- No, thank you. Maybe we should stay away from each other, I don't want your girlfriend to see us together again. - Wooyoung removed San's hand from his waist.
- We ended things, Woo. Mina and I are no longer together. - San used the last card he had. He didn't want Wooyoung to think he was looking for him as a rebound. - Let me take you out after the ceremony. -
- I'll think about it. - Those were the last words Wooyoung said before leaving. Also, those were the only words San needed to feel better.
The ceremony was very emotional. Mingi and Yunho were finally married and ready to spend the rest of their lives together. Afterwards, they were taking off to Greece, where they would celebrate their honeymoon for a week. San said goodbye to his friend before they left and Mingi gave San a speech about doing everything he could to win Wooyoung back.
