chapter three: meeting Finn Shelby

Finn (while rose was at the pub)

It took Finn a little over an hour to find the address. He knocked loudly on the door as he thought about how hard this must be on his brother.

The door flung open

''That was quick John what did RJ say'' a female voice called out stopping abruptly in fear when her eyes fell upon the youngest Shelby

''I -- wh-at'' she froze confused

Finn pushed passed her barging into the apartment throwing his coat onto the beat up couch and turned around to face her.

''your assistance is required I'm afraid'' He said trying to be as polite as possible

''I don't think that, Look I'm busy alright I got a friend that's on the way round'' she tried taking a step back

''you are coming with me whether or not you want to so don't make this difficult'' Finn said walking towards her

''what NO stop says who, you cant just'' she shook her head

The door creaked open hitting the wall behind it making Finn step back giving Katy a warning look before turning to the boy who had just walked through the door if Finn had to guess he could only be a few years younger than him.

''Hey Katy I'm back uhm oh hello who are you'' he paused looking at me

''Finn I'm a friend of Katy's from Birmingham'' I stuck out my hand better to make a friend than an enemy and who knows maybe he could he helpful

'' you can call me John nice to meet ya'' Jonathan replied politely taking off his hat in respect bowing his head slightly ''any friend of Katy's is a friend of mine''

''I didn't know he was coming but he was just leaving'' she rushed out quickly standing in-between the two

''nonsense'' john smiled ''he's come all this way it would be a shame for you not to catch up ill be at the dark stallion with RJ if ya need me pleasure to meet ya Finn''

''why don't you stay you seem like a decent Lad could always use some more friends especially in these parts'' Finn spoke up

Finn and Jonathan sat on the couch laughing and talking about everything the streets, coppers Jonathan told him stories however he avoided questions about his family dodging all  personal questions

suddenly the burst open on instinct Finn jumped up however Jonathan looked behind him unfazed

Rose

I was a fucking coward, I continued running, abandoning Alister fuck knows what they were going to do to him bur right now I was more focused on getting to Katy's I needed to know what she told them who or what exactly were they looking for.

I rounded the corner quickly narrowing my sites on Katy's small shared living space, I wasted no time in kicking down the door barrelling into the living room to my surprise I found Jonathan in a detailed conversation with a man I had never seen before with Katy standing in the small connected kitchen looking petrified.

''what the fucks going on'' I spat out my gun raised swaying between Katy and the strange man

''RJ'' my brother laughed smiling at me ''this is one of them fellows Katy met in Birmingham proper solid guy''

''Don't suppose your the one who showed her a good time''

to say the boy was shocked was an understatement

''what you talking about Rose'' my brother stood up slowly  confused reaching for his gun not fully understanding the situation

''why don't you ask Katy''

she begins to sob tears streaming down her face

''I'm so so so sorry Jonathan I'm  really sorry I was drunk and they wouldn't take no for an answer'' she stood up shaking reaching out for him clearly understanding that Rose had found out what happened  

At this point he had his gun fully drawn pointing at her while mine was pointing at the stranger

''what did you do'' Jonathan whispered out in shock

''I lied to them told them about you mum I said she died i told them she had a son but I you died and I didn't mention your sister I didn't know they would follow me here I promise I never thought I was putting you in danger''

I could see the strangers face crash with realisation

''tell him what else you did'' I whispered guilt swarming me I didn't know how bad he was going to take this

''I cheated on you I'm sorry'' more tears bursting from her eyes

''your Jack then'' the young boy asked looking at Jonathan ''and you Tommy's going to be over the moon he thought he was dead  and we didn't even know you existed twins he's got twins'' he said smiling from ear to ear

''uhm jack'' Jonathan almost laughing in confusion

''it's what I told them your name was it was the first thing I could think off '' Katy muttered now sat on the couch her hands on her face

''well if everything she said was bullshit how about we introduce ourselves''  the boy said smiling looking between the two happily ''I'm Finn Shelby youngest of the Shelby brothers and if I haven't read this situation wrong your uncle''

''Jonathan'' my brother said nodding his head ignoring Finn's outstretched hand

He looked at me waiting, I glared at him my gun still raised pointed at him 

''Rose'' my brother groaned ''that's Rose or RJ for short you'll have to cut her some slack  were both a bit confused at the situation also neither of us have any desire to well even meet you nether mind this Tommy guy''

Katy jumped up but Finn grabbed her by the back of her arm and quickly pulled out his gun pointing it at her head

''That's fine I wont risk hurting either off you but she's staying with me'' Finn said shrugging

my brother continued backing away ignoring Katy's cries I slowly followed him and we both took off running towards the warehouse

''that mans of his fucking roka'' I yelled to my brother ''completely mental I tell ya''

Finn after RJ and Jonathan left

Finn dragged Katy out the door and towards the dark station remembering John mention that RJ was there and after everything she said it only made sense she had had a run in with his brothers. His thoughts racing as he pushed the gun further into Katy's head to stop her crying. he kicked open the pub door eyes scanning for his brothers Tommy was sitting at the bar clearly deep in thought.
