(Y/N) POV

It's been a little while since I reunited with Chef. We got to share lots of stories and I started getting better at cooking again with his guidance, it's lots of fun! I haven't really gotten to see Blake since she got her weapon back, I'm just glad she likes the gold coloured fix we put on Gambol Shroud.

Blake: (Y/N)! You should wrap up for today, let's go somewhere together.

(Y/N): Where are you?

Blake: I'm hiding.

(Y/N): Why?

Blake: Otherwise it would ruin the surprise.

(Y/N): ok then, you know, you're really cute.

Blake was standing behind a wall on the opposite side of the room, i could tell from the fact that she accidentally knocked over a planter when she was trying to escape because i startled her.

(Y/N): You know, maybe i'm just hearing things, i guess i'll just go pick up that plant and head to go see Blake

I could hear Blake slip through an open window and book it away so that i wouldn't get a good look at her, usually she's so antsy for me to notice when she tries on lipstick that Yang gave her or when she tries to wear an outfit she hasn't in a while and she wants me to tell her that it's not too small on her, seriously, her muscles are huge, she grows out of things way too quickly. I guess she must really want it to be a surprise, I wonder if she'll notice the new prosthetic, you know what, i'm gonna challenge myself to notice whatever it is she wants to be a surprise before she notices my new arm. This is gonna be hard, but i gotta do it on my honour as a good boyfriend. I walked back to my dorm to check if Bree and Sam were there, they weren't thankfully, so, if anything goes wrong, we can escape back to my dorm. When i got to team RWBY's dorm, i noticed Ruby had changed her style a bit when she walked out.

(Y/N): Hey Ruby! I like your new haircut

Ruby: Thanks (Y/N)! I figured changing up my style might do me some good

(Y/N): I mean you look really nice! Has Weiss gotten to see it yet?

Ruby: We've got a date tonight, i'm actually going to meet up with her now, oh and, by the way, Blake's all set to go so you can just walk in.

(Y/N): Thanks! Good luck out there! I'll see about giving you two some time alone in your dorm, you know, for the after-date.

Ruby: Thank you, but shut up.

I walked into the dorm, just as Ruby said, to see Blake, Looking gorgeous, she, was not fully dressed though, and Ruby trying to be my Wingman did not work because rather than looking away before she noticed, i stood there stunned, not only by the fact that she was only wearing her pants and a bra, but also the fact that she cut her hair, and it looks really nice.

Blake: (Y/N)! How long have you been standing there?

(Y/N): Ruby said i could just walk in, God you're beautiful.

Blake's face grew very flushed.

Blake: (Y/N), H-How do you like my hair?

(Y/N): Give me a second.

Blake: Is it bad?

(Y/N): No, but i'm left a little speechless after that, Man, you are gorgeous

Blake: Thank you.

(Y/N): Do you mind if I stare some more?

Blake: Please turn around so i can finish changing

(Y/N): ok.
