Naruto sat high up on top of a building, staring down at the village as if he was a bird. He needed to a place to be by himself but also wanted to stay inside Konoha. Since there is something extremely off going on, he can't risk getting lost and encountering more fake people outside of the village. Who knows which one will backstab him.
They all have the same names and faces as his friends but personality wise, it's completely different.
Finally feeling the nice breeze, his thoughts could finally organize itself and the conclusion he made was that all of this must be linked to Madara. It happened after being blinded by the glass ball so he must either be dreaming this whole ordeal or sent into a weird illusion.
He needs to find a way to snap himself out of it, who knows how long he's going to stay trap in whatever this place is. Maybe it's best if he stays far away from everyone until he can figure a way out. Interacting with them would only put him on edge.
So.. about finding a way to get out of here.
"Where do I even start?!" Naruto yelled out loudly, gripping onto his hair and kicking his legs out of frustration. There's no leads to anything, he was simply sent here by a ball! How could he plan an escape with no leads.
Sighing out, he rolled backwards and flipped himself to stand up. Alright! Though his situation isn't ideal, it's best if he tried to be more upbeat about this. If he wants to think more positively then he must find some sort of entertainments here. Maybe they'll have something better here than from his original place!
Might as well explore around to get a better understanding of the village and what to do here.
He was kind of curious if his apartment was still here. Dusting off the imaginary dirt off his pants, he leaped down the from the roof of the building and landed on the ground. He then began walking to where his apartment is located from memory.
While strolling through the busy street, he did notice some changes with stores and even the sellers themselves. Like before, there was a store owner who was constantly grumpy while selling magazines. Now the man is smiling at everyone, giving his best promotion on new magazines releases and waving happily.
"That's a nice change" Naruto thought to himself as he watched the man happily sell a magazine to a teenager.
Looking over to the other side, he sees a group of kids huddling together. One of them though, stood out the most and Naruto instantly recognized who he was supposed to be once he saw the long blue scarf around his neck.
It was Konohamaru!
The usual bright and energetic boy was now looks almost angsty, pulling the scarf to cover his mouth while his hair covered one side of his face. Naruto couldn't help but let out a chuckle, not used to seeing him so quiet.
He kind of reminds him of Sasuke during his younger phase.
He immediately looked away from the group seeing them glance at him, probably thinking he's a weirdo right now. He tried to walked past them quickly, not wanting to be identified and continued onwards.
He was stopped quickly though when Konohamaru called out to him. He flinched at that, forcing a smile on his face as he watched the young boy walk over towards him.
"Big Brother! I haven't seen you for a while now" Konohamaru said to him, smiling a bit as he half waved at him.
Konohamaru may look different, he still had the same vibe as the Konohamaru Naruto knew. It made him visibly relaxed, unconsciously ruffling his hair and grinning naturally at him.
