Fred nuzzled his head further into the crook of Rebecca's neck. She had one arm around him so she could brush his hair back and the other behind her head, her eyes focused on the ceiling above. "How can you know?" Fred whispered, bringing her attention out of her thoughts and back to his question. The idea of her sleeping without the draught--the protection against the premonitions--had filled him with worry. Bringing it up to Rebecca, he hadn't been reassured yet.
"How do we know anything, darling?" Rebecca glanced at him and brought her hand from behind her head to his, putting her fingers between his where he had an arm draped across her middle. "I've brought things back from the dead--how can we know anything at all after that?"
Fred sighed. "You're changing the subject." Looking at her carefully, Fred tried to tune his Rebecca-lying meter. "Will you get someone if you see something?"
Rebecca turned towards him, letting his hand slip behind her to pull her close. "Yes, I will."
"Are you sure?"
"Positive."
Fred smiled and kissed her lightly, pulling the top most blanket higher over her shoulder. "I'm going to miss this."
Rebecca nodded. Her hand found its way to his chest, where it always seemed to when they slept. She couldn't help it, she thought. There was something soothing in his warmth and feeling the steady, endless beating of his heart. "I bet Nigel has worked on his charts all break."
They both laughed, glancing across the room to make sure Ginny and Hermione slept on.
"I don't doubt it, love." Fred rolled his eyes. "He's probably been working with Louis and...what's the Ravenclaw connection again?"
"Yara." Rebecca answered. "You always forget."
"No, I most certainly do not." Fred smiled cheekily and stole one more kiss. "And even if I did, you always remember so it doesn't matter. You need to get to sleep."
The end of his sentence didn't have to be spoken, and Rebecca frowned at the thought all the same. Molly had received a letter from McGonagall outlining that Rebecca and Harry were to attend Occlumency lessons with Snape three times a week once term resumed.
Fred regretted reminding her instantly and he tried to recover the peace of their night by wrapping his arm around her so that her head was brought to his heart. He hummed a song softly, a song that cleared her mind of all thoughts instantly.
"Is that-"
"I've been asking around, trying to find someone who had heard it." Fred smiled sadly. "Hermione knew, of course."
Rebecca laid her head back against Fred's chest, listening to the tune of her few childhood memories not tainted.
"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. Please don't take my sunshine away."
Fred finished the melody of the verse and held Rebecca as close as he had until well after she had drifted off to sleep.

"Oh, my loves." Molly sighed, pulling Ron back into the hug he had just gotten out of. She kissed his cheeks repeatedly as she already had everyone else twice over. "My sweet babies!"
"Mum!" Ron groaned, pulling back and straightening his shirt. "We're only going to school!"
"Shut it, tosspot." Ginny snapped, wrapping her arms around Molly quickly. "Let mum be."
