(Mallory's point of view)
"Griggs, it seems we have covered every part of this investigation, and we are getting nowhere." Braxton informs him. I sit behind my desk, behind my laptop, twirling an Inkpen between my fingers.
"I told you; this was not going to be an easy case." Griggs replies. While Braxton and Griggs argue, a thought crosses my mind.
"Hold up."
They stop mid-argument and turn to look at me. Both of them wore surprised looks on their faces from my quick intervention. "I've been thinking about this. Before we left Mr. Snow's house, Braxton. Joey, stopped me and showed me a world history book."
"So? Unless that's a piece of evidence, that just proves that kid attended school at one point in his life." Griggs sarcastically comments.
I give him a blank stare before speaking up once more. "No, it is evidence. Joey Snow said he was on a yacht called Maintaining Majesty. He even showed me a picture of one out of a history book with the same exact name."
"So, what's the odds of another yacht having the same name?" Braxton asks, as he swivels back and forth in his swivel chair.
"Well, certainly there's a chance of a sister yacht somewhere, but the odds of it being closely similar to that of this yacht being investigated is very little." I replied.
"I suggest you two need to start looking up famous yachts with that name. Since you did spot it in a world history book, Mallory."
"On it." Braxton says, as he types rapidly on his desktop. He pounds his finger down on the keyboard one more final time before turning the desktop toward Griggs and me.
"A long while back, there was a summer festival in the country of Wilachia. There were many people from all over who came that year in attendance. That includes the first family of Wilachia." Braxton says, as he skims over the online article.
"Once I get clearance, it looks like the two of you will be traveling internationally." Griggs informs us.
"You're kidding right?" I ask him.
"No. He is far from kidding, Mallory." Braxton replies.
