(Mallory's point of view)

"Are you sure we need to dress like this? I mean, we need to keep our cover."

"Braxton, Lawrence already knows about us."

"It does not mean the rest need to."

"You have a point, but he will be here in five minutes."

"Well, then let's go meet him then."

By the time we arrive to the lobby, it was nine on the dot. As we step outside, a limousine met us at the front entrance. Lawrence waits patiently as we get in. "Good morning, detectives. Are you ready?"

"As we'll ever be." I reply.

Even with heavy traffic, the drive did not seem too terribly long. With silence currently consuming the atmosphere, I took up my time by looking at the scenery as we passed by. Lawrence spoke up when we passed by a corner on the street.

"Here's a little trivia, what is important about that spot we just passed?" Lawrence asks, breaking the silence. He looked up in the rearview mirror at us.

"It's just a spot on the street, how could it be that significant?" Braxton asks.

I spoke up before Lawrence intervened. "It's where Queen Saige and King Abel met."

"Precisely! You know your history." Lawrence comments. I shrug my shoulders.

"Hmm, what an interesting way to first meet." Braxton replies.

"Abel was just a prince back then, but he and his friend had been out drinking. They were coming home, when a car pulled out in front of Abel's vehicle, ultimately hitting them before driving off. Saige happened to be walking toward her hotel room from a downtown diner when she came across the wreck. Needless to say, the rest was history." I chime in.

"Decker, when did you get into studying up on the royal family?" Braxton teases.

"There was a time I took history class." I replied.

"I remember studying the royalty from time to time, but never in detail."

We traveled up a long driveway before finally arriving at the front of the palace. Lawrence wastes no time getting out of the limo, heading up toward the palace steps. Braxton and I get out shortly after, following Lawrence's lead.

We walk up the front steps, toward two wooden doors. Lawrence reaches out pressing the doorbell. Security detail opens the doors quickly after the doorbell rings out. One of the guards speaks up. "Ahh, Lawrence. It's always good to see you. Who are these two people you brought along with you?" The guard looks between Lawrence, Braxton, and me.

"Oh, they are just some tourists. I told them we usually don't let tourists in just randomly, but I figured today won't hurt anything to let them just look around." Lawrence states.

"By all means, welcome to Wilachia." The other guard states, as he steps aside to let us in. We were stopped once more by more security to be searched. When the guards felt like we were searched thoroughly, they stepped away from the three of us. Lawrence quickly turns to look at us.

"This is my cue to part; I wish you both the best. Remember, do not overstay your welcome." Lawrence warns. He then turns around, walking on down the foyer, turning the corner. Braxton looks at me with a smirk. "He's quite the character." He says, as he scoffs. Braxton walks over to the nearby table that displays multiple pictures on top of it. Above the table, was a larger picture that was a painting of the current royal family.
