Chapter Four: The Boomer

Three and a Half Months Pregnant

The past few weeks found Naruto and Sasuke busy beyond belief. Naruto had assignments he needed to grade and essays to write himself, while Sasuke had been busy with a sudden influx of responsibilities due to Obito planning the upcoming ceremony with Rin. Thankfully Obito's mother was still in the dark, or there wouldn't be a ceremony since Obito would be very much dead. They hadn't had a chance to spend a lot of time together, but Sasuke was hoping everything would be back to normal after the event.

He pulled into his house, noticing a few cars in the front. They had quite a bit of company visiting. When he got inside, he could hear the obnoxious laughter of Shisui vibrating through the hall. Naruto was on the emerald couch next to Gaara while Itachi and Shisui wrestled on the floor.

"What the hell is going on?" Sasuke drawled as he hung up his jacket.

Naruto perked up and automatically raised his arms, "Sas!" He strolled forward and pressed a welcoming kiss on the blonde's lips and a gentle rub on his stomach that left him giddy. Because their baby was in there.

Itachi blew his messy long hair out of his face and frowned, "I don't get a hello?"

Shisui shoved him to the side, "I should get one first!"

"I'm his brother. You're just the annoying cousin." Itachi tsked in annoyance.

Shisui gasped in mock hurt, "How dare you!"

Sasuke rolled his eyes and let them continue bickering, "Hey Gaara."

"Hey." Gaara gave him a small welcoming smile.

He looked around the messy living room, "What the hell happened here?"

"Itachi goaded Shisui, telling him he was stronger," Gaara smirked, clearly enjoying their wrestling.

"Of course." He pinched his nose in annoyance, "You two better clean this shit up."

"Yeah yeah." Shisui waved him off right before Itachi put him in a chokehold. Shisui started flailing around, trying to get away. Sasuke searched the room for Tomato and Noodle and found them hidden in their cat beds, watching everything.

Naruto got up and stroked Sasuke's arm, "Are you hungry? I saved you a plate."

Sasuke nodded, "Yeah but I can get it don't worry about me."

The omega huffed, "As if I'd listen to you." He grabbed Sasuke's hand and led him to the kitchen to heat up his food. Gaara continued fondly watching as Shisui got the upper hand and pinned Itachi down. He had to admit it was pretty hot watching his boyfriend winning.

Naruto placed his cheek on his fist, "How was your day?"

"Annoying."

"What happened?" Naruto frowned in worry and handed Sasuke the soup and some bread.

"That Hinata girl is getting on my nerves. She's incompetent and rude to Ino."

Naruto scowled, "Really? I should text her."

"Yeah, I think she'd like that."

He pulled out his phone and shot Ino a quick text.

Sasuke told me Hinata has been rude to you.

Ino replied almost instantly, Yess babe. She's always comparing outfits and trying to make me feel poor! :(
