Life has a funny way of leading people to the places they need to be, and one might not always know they need to be there but when those unforgettable moments happen you learn so quickly to hold on to them, to cherish those moments as they come to you.
"I love you." in a moment of boldness she reached up to lightly brush his messy hair from his face,
"Show me."
It's the moments you don't always expect that steal the breath from your lungs and turns them into treasured memories.
Soft kisses traced along every scar that littered her body as strong hands held small ones above the object of his affections head, as if his ministrations would erase the painful reminders notched in delicate skin.
"Remus." Her voice was airy as his lips trailed up her torso, "My beautiful girl." He whispered back, lifting his head to look at her before returning to kiss along the long jagged scar along her stomach before steadily ascending to capture her lips.
When he finally pulled back Seren regarded him with half-lidded eyes, "Are you certain that you're ready?" his fingers delicately traced along her jaw, smiling warmly down at her, "Yes." Remus leaned down to capture her lips again. "I love you."
The day back at the leaky cauldron came flooding back to her, "Do you remember?" Remus looked down at her curiously, "You said something to me that day in the Leaky Cauldron, the day you first kissed me."
"You quoted Charles Dicken's."
"Great expectations, yes, I remember." There was nothing but fondness in his eyes, "I loved her against reason," his fingers traced from her jaw to her collar bone, "against promise, against peace," down over her breast, "against hope, against happiness," dipping lower and lower until they rested at the hem of her skirt, as if memorizing her body. "Against all discouragement that could be." His fingers nimbly pulled down on the zipper, quickly unhooking the metal clasp. Seren arched her back to help him ease the article of clothing off.
"Are you ready?" he could see the hint of apprehension in her eyes, the remnants of fear, "I will never hurt you, Seren, as long as I live."
'I promise.' Slowly he slid her panties down, discarding them with the rest of their clothes on the floor.
"I trust you, Remus." His fingers lightly trailed along her, swirling over her clit before sliding along her folds and pushing into her, his other hand still held hers firmly in place as his fingers curled inside of her, pleased when she arched her back again.
Continuing to move his fingers inside of her he could feel her walls constrict and part of him wondered if...he cleared the thought from his mind as his erection grew, "I'm going to let go of your hands, but I want you to keep them above your head."
Seren's quizzical gaze made him chuckle, "Use your words, love."
"Yes...Sir." Remus growled, pleased with her choice of words as he leaned down, placing a series of kisses along her inner thigh, "my good girl." Closer and closer he climbed as his fingers continued to work in and out of her as he placed a final kiss at her hip before his mouth replaced his fingers, earning him a sharp gasp of pleasure.
Feeling his tongue dart inside of her she had the urge to go against his order, to touch him, to thread her fingers into his hair but she knew better and instead she did exactly as she was told.
She could feel him chuckle as she whimpered, "Does that feel good, love?"
"Yes."
Sweet and tender moments were not something Seren was accustomed to until she'd met Remus and it showed with the uncertainty she'd had until this point. Just shy of a year, experiencing his patient and kind personality had worked a different kind of magic on her, it wasn't literal in the sense of casting spells, it was metaphysical, intangible...like oxygen, one can't always see it but it's always there.
