2 | getting to know you

after some basic self-introduction, as well as dinner, it was free time for all the members, who proceeded to do their personal activities.

ding dong!

the doorbell rang all of a sudden and attracted everyone to gather at the front door. chaewon unnie opened the door, only to see bang pd-nim at the door.

chaewon: pd-nim what are you doing here?

from her tone, i could tell she was shocked at his sudden appearance.

pd-nim: hi girls, hope you all have been interacting and having fun with y/n. i'm here to pass y/n's personal belongings. since he/she has so few things with him/her, it could easily fit in my car so i decided to bring it personally. plus, i can also check if y/n is adapting well.

y/n: thank you for bringing my stuff over pd-nim! the girls are very nice, they helped me to adapt really well!

pd-nim: glad to hear that, please pardon me as i would need to take my leave now. have a great week ahead!

everyone: bye pd-nim!

i moved my things inside the dorm and put it at a corner of the living room first as i did not know where i would be sleeping.

yunjin: oh y/nnie you have so few items with you?

she asked me when she saw the small heap of items that belonged to me.

y/n: ne yunjin, i don't have a lot of stuff with me, makes it easy for me to carry around.

yunjin: why don't we go shopping tomorrow? you do look like you need more clothing and personal items.

that sounded nice. after all, i only had a few sets of shirts, which were not enough for an idol. some of my items were also quite old or too small for me. only problem is, i did not have much money with me and i did not want to leave a bad impression on them that i could not pay for my own stuff.

maybe i should just find some cheap items that are in my budget?

afterwards, chaewon called me over.

chaewon: ok so there are six rooms in our dorm. however, one room has been used to store our personal belongings there, so you would have to share a room with one of the members. who would you like to sleep with? i can help to ask her if you're too shy to do so.

y/n: um... i would want to sleep with you, if it's alright.

chaewon: me? oh that's kinda surprising, but it's totally fine with me! come, let me bring you to my room and you can put your stuff there.

since her room was on the second floor, i had to carry everything up the stairs which i almost fell off from. once we reached the second level, there were three doors facing us. chaewon then opened the one on the right, which i assumed it belonged to her.

chaewon: welcome to my room! although it's not the neatest and all, but i hope you do like it and find it comfortable!

the room itself was very aesthetic, there were picture frames, posters and sticky notes decorated on the wall. there was also a study table where her laptop was placed. beside it, there was a cute pink table lamp and a tiger plushie. she also had a queen size bed and a walk-in closet. even though it might be slightly empty, there were still quite a lot of things there.

i placed all my clothes in a part of the closet, which she has kindly cleared out for me to use. then, i placed my remaining belongings in a small stash at a corner of the room.

chaewon: y/nnie, you have that few items with you? come, we are going to go shopping tomorrow. you definitely more than these.

y/n: yup i know, yunjin has told me already. although there are quite a bit of things i have to buy and... i don't exactly have the financial means to do so...
