Story 4:Trolls And The Haunted Castle

Chapter 1:The Death of Love ☠️ 💕

The story opens up in the older 1600 period of the Trolls, inside a castle, A young pink troll (that resembles Poppy)is packing up her bags and is about to leave when she is stopped by a tall purple troll, wearing a blue hat and dark red and black clothing.

"I don't see why you must leave. The male Troll says.

"I already told you Troy." The female told him. I love Matthew." My mind is already made up.

"Don't do this to me Judith." You know I love you more then he does. I can give you everything your heart desires." Troy tells her.

I'm sorry, but I can't." We can still be friends. But I love Matthew." Judith packs her bag and before she can take a step out of the door, she turns to Troy and says, "Please don't be mad.''

Troy smugly smiles.

" I could never stay mad at you." He says. In fact, why don't we have a drink, before you depart on your journey?"

Judith seemed hesitant. "I don't know Troy."

"I insist. After all, we don't want you to become dehydrated no do we?" Troy says as he pour a glass of wine 🍷.

Judith sighed. "Ok " One drink." And then I leave " She takes the glass 🍷 from Troy and sipped the liquid. Troy watched as she drunk all of it.

Suddenly Judith became very ill and started coughing.

"I...I don't feel so good she says as she falls to the ground.

"Oh Judith my love 💕. If only you'd chosen me this wouldn't have to happen Troy says.

Judith eyes got blurry and everything goes dark.

In the present Day, Branch is seen working on something.

"Branch?" A voice called. It was Poppy who walks up to him with Twig strapped to her chest in a baby carrier.

"There you are." I've been looking all over you."

Branch takes takes off his helmet ⛑️ and turns over to Poppy. "Sorry.I've been working on this project for Dante." Branch explains wiping the sweat 💦 from his face.
"Do you know what today is? Poppy asked.

Branch paused. Tuesday of course." He replied. Poppy just started at him.

"Uh...Our anniversary?"

"Uh...um... your birthday?" Branch guessed.

"The twins birthday?".

Twig's birthday?"Twig blew a raspberry.

"Oh for the love frosting." It's the Twins glitter ball game today." Poppy reminded him.

"Ooohhh " Right." Branch sheepishly says

"I can't believe you forgot." Poppy sighed.

"No."No I didn't forget." Branch says receiving another glare from Poppy.

"Ok so maybe I did forget." But what do you want me to do Poppy?"

"I want you to try and be there for your kids. You've been so focused on working around Trollstopia, that you've barely had enough time to spend with your family.

Branch didn't know what to say."This is very important for them." Poppy says.

Branch sighed and . "Ok, I'll try to make it."

Poppy smiles and kisses him on the cheek.

"Thanks hun." And with that she leaves." Branch then looks at his watch. If I hurry this up I might have enough time to-Branch there you are!"

Branch looks to see Smidge and Holly. The water slide isn't running any water and we need your crafty building skills to fix it."

"Oh geeze guys. Branch says. I promised Poppy that I'd show up to the twins glitterball game."

"But we need water." Smidge cried.

"So...Dry...Holly coughed as they fall to the ground.

Branch was hesitant but sighs. "Oh alright." I'll fix it." Smidge and Holly both cheered.

"I mean how long could it take to fix a water slide?"

Later at the Glitter ball field Poppy is seen with the twins.

"Do your best out there." And remember we're rooting for you." Poppy tells them with Twig clapping his hand.

"Mom " Harley says. "Do you think Dad will come?" Poppy didn't know what to respond. She then smiles. "He'll be here honey." Don't worry." He better."

"Huh?" Harley asked.

"Nothing."Poppy kisses both the twins on the cheek. Good luck my little Superstars."

The twins runs off to go play their game.

"Branch will be here." I know he will." Twig blurs out baby noises. Yeah you're right." Poppy says.

Hours passed and the Pufalo patriots were losing to Sparkle Spiders. Branch still hasn't shown up. Poppy looks around. "Com'on Branch." Don't do this." You promised to be here for the kids."

"Ooh it's not looking good for the Pufalo Patriots. The announcer says. And with only one minute left they only have to make one shot in order to win."

Hazel does her signature, Hazelnut special. She kicks the ball. As the ball goes at super fast speed, the Goalie catches the ball. Hazel and Harley both sighed in disappointment 😞.

"Well folks it looks like the Sparkle Spiders win the game." You'll get them next time Patriots. Hazel and Harley looked in the bleachers only to see their mother and Brother. Suddenly Branch comes.
"I'm here!" I made it " but only to see that everyone had left and the game was over.

Branch looked to see the disappointment 😥 on his children's face and they both walked off. "Kids wait"🫸 he called out. "Where you going?"

But the twins didn't answer him. But Harley walks up to his father. I'd thought you'd be here." Gusse I was wrong." And with that he walks off.

Branch gets saddened.

"I really goofed it up this time didn't I" he asked as Poppy walked up to him.

"Yeah you kinda did." But now it's up to you to make it right."

"How?" Branch asked. They hate me."

"Hate?" Hate is a strong word." They don't hate you Branch." Poppy says. They just wanted their dad to be there for them is all. Which I could relate to them.

Branches eyes wide . You do?"

"Yes." Poppy replies. "You've been so focused on working around the village, That you barley spend time with your family." Branch looks sad.

"I didn't think I'd be that neglectful."

"But like I said, it's up to you to make it right." If you want your kids to not be mad at you spend some time with them." And with that Poppy walks off. Leaving Branch by himself.
