The tales of Kibutsuji's marriages were all horrible.

What had happened to all of Kibutsuji's previous wives?

The story was always the same.

He didn't care for them. He didn't like them. They were simply in the background. They were endlessly annoying pawns that decorated his neverending lifespan.

And yet, each one of them expected more from him. They craved his attention and wanted his cooperation, some even wanted his love but the idea of love to him seemed foolish.

Love was a weak emotion. There was no purpose for it, it only ever held people back and caused them to hinder their goals. Kibutsuji had seen it so many times. It happened to humans, even among some of his demons. Love was an unfortunate thing.

He couldn't even fathom the idea of falling in love. He would be an idiot if he did and he would never allow himself to stoop that low.

...

So why then was he lusting over a seamstress?

Lust was the cousin of love.

It was almost equally as bad and yet he couldn't seem to control these desires that had suddenly fallen over him.

He didn't understand why they hadn't gone away yet.

(Y/N).

What was it about you that attracted him to you? He couldn't seem to figure it out, that was the part that annoyed him the most. Why was he being drawn to you like this?

Why did you seem so appetizing?

From the sweet scent of your blood, to the way you looked at him-you just seemed so enticing.

He wanted to bite you.

He wanted to wrap his arms around you and
make you melt-to seduce you into becoming under his possession...but how would he manage that?

He was set to see you for another occasion but he had already decided this would be his last time appealing to your terms.

After today, your shop would be a thing of the past.

Today it seemed you were working hard.

When he walked in your eyes weren't facing him. Your head looked down at what you were working on. Your hair was tied back in a tight bun as you bit your lip, your eyes focused on what seemed like a fabric you were examining. You didn't even notice that he was in the room, you were in your own little world.

Your assistant sighed before looking up.

She spotted Kibutsuji's lone still figure and approached him, "I'm sorry we're closed," she announced coldly.

Kibutsuji blinked before ignoring her completely.

He, himself, finally spoke.

...

"(Y/N)."

Your eyes snapped upwards and he watched as your eyes widened.

"Tsukihiko?"

Your features brightened, a smile spreading across your face. You got up from the table you were working at as you approached him immediately. Your eyes were filled with utter warmth.

Kibutsuji was a bit surprised at your reaction.

He'd never received such a welcome from you.

You turned your head to your assistant, "You can close the shop now."

She looked confused for a moment but she quickly changed her facial expression before giving an affirming nod.

The both of you spent some time outside in the cold night air. You sat on a hill under the starry night sky while Muzan remained standing. You adjusted to the sudden drop in temperature shivering at the breeze as you looked up at the sky above you.

"A full moon..."

Your voice trailed off as you stared up at the large looming ball in the sky. It stood out so much that it was almost scary.

That was when you remembered you weren't alone. Looking up to your right you saw Tsukihiko looking down at you.

He was simply staring at you. You blinked a few times wondering why he was.

"Is something up?"

"No."

...

"Can I tell you the truth Tsukihiko?"

"Yes."

"You're actually the first person I've ever dated."

Wasn't it obvious? You weren't doing a very good job at hiding it.

"And how is it so far?" his smooth voice asked.

"...I like you," you murmured as you stared at him, "I'm glad I met you," you said simply.

"(Y/N), would you consider being mine?"

You thought for a moment.

"Yours?"

Your eyes were dazy as you looked at him.

"Yours?" you asked with a smile.

Muzan smirked mischievously, "Of course being mine comes with terms and conditions but we can discuss all that later."

You looked at him before huffing, stunned at the confidence that was radiating off of him.

"...you won't need to work at the shop anymore. I can assure that I'll take care of you..."

This sudden offer stunned you.

Was this...some type of proposal?

"I can't tell what you're offering?"

This man in front you, you only knew a bit about him. It would be reckless to throw yourself into his arms and yet you wanted to.

"Would you stand up for me (Y/N)?"

You slowly complied.

You stared up at his red-brown eyes. He took a step towards you, his head tilting downwards to get a better view of you. In an instant, Kibutsuji seemed so much closer. He could feel your breathing along his jaw, he could smell the sweet scent of your blood.

"Agree to my proposal (Y/N)," his voice was slow and somewhat convincing.

You gave a nod, your eyes closing softly, "Okay," you murmured, "I'll be yours."

Muzan smirked a bit, "Good."

You watched as he took your hand and began to lead you down the hill to a nearby vehicle.

"There's something I'd like to show you."

"Is it far away?"

"A bit," he answered clearly, "but I think it's worth it. You can rest on the way there if you'd like."

You nodded, as you slipped into the backseat. Once inside, Muzan entered shortly after sitting in the seat beside you. You felt the vehicle begin to move and your eyes stayed glued to the window until you shortly drifted off into sleep.
