Sitting in the back of a vehicle, your eyes peered out of the window. You hadn't been outside in such a long time. You watched the moving objects in slight awe as your eyes stayed glued to the scenery.

Muzan watched you silently as he relaxed a bit. Your curiosity was amusing. The way your eyes glimmered at the passing trees and people. He watched you as the vehicle slowly came to a stop and the two of you exited.

The whole time you were travelling you had been wondering where Muzan was taking you but as you stepped out the answer became clear.

You were in a town and it seemed tonight was a special one because there were people scurrying around, bright lights decorated and festivities left and right.

You were extremely excited, your eyes switching from side to side as you looked at all the people.

You tried your best to keep your emotions in check but you were raving inside. Your eyes widened seeing the activities, the kimonos, the voices and you could feel yourself slowly becoming more and more excited.

You rushed to go get a closer look but slowed down when you heard his voice.

"Walk," Muzan reminded softly.

You complied, slowing your pace before turning around to face him.

You walked closer to him interlocking your fingers before walking in toward the crowd.

Muzab could only smirk at your advance as he squeezed your hand.

You looked back at him with a smile.

"I'm so happy you exist."

...

Muzan almost smiled. Almost.

Happy he existed? What type of compliment was that?

He'd never heard something more ridiculous in his life so why did it make him feel so happy? Somehow he was happy you existed as well.

In truth, Muzan actually hated being in places like this. He hated being around large crowds because he found them repulsive.

He had already experienced his fair share of human interaction over the years and he did not require any more. He had a deep dislike for humans.

Actually, now that he thought about it, Kibutsuji loathed most things. He loathed people, he loathed the lot of his demons, he loathed weakness, the list went on and on.

However, one thing Kibutsuji did like was you.

He liked seeing you smile. He liked how in tune the two of you were, he liked how you reacted when you were around him and how you seemed to care for him.
