They all teased me, the knights I mean.

I was getting poked from all sides as I sat on the bench in a daze while they all gave me 'encouragement.'

"This is the best opportunity." Rose hugged me, "I'm going to give you a list of things,"

"What things?" Unexpectedly I was getting a lot of love from the people here. It gave me an immense amount of joy but I was also a little scared. I'm not human after all.

"Things that you have to eat during the festival." Her eyes glistened.

"Oh?" I looked at her in surprise. I wasn't expecting a genuine suggestion from her, "Thank you."

She kissed my cheek, "Sure~ Just make sure you enjoy them a lot!"

I don't think there's a hidden meaning behind it, but the way the girls were looking at each other, looking like criminals before a crime, made me rethink my conclusion.

"We'll sign you up for the talent stage too." Nana said, "But let's keep it a secret from the captain."

I nodded, "Alright." I didn't question their decision, it was obvious they wanted it to be a surprise. I, myself didn't think that it was a bad idea.

"And clothes!" They all got a little hyped up.

"And the hair!"

"We'll doll you up!"

"Even the captain won't be able to resist you!"

"He'll come back from chastity land!"

Chastity land? Has he been abstinent for that long?

"He won't ever go back!"

Woah... They sometimes scare me.

Just like that, the day of the festival came and as promised, all the available people helped doll me up. I wasn't expecting much since they're all knights but they did a remarkable job.

When I stood in front of the mirror to look at myself, I was amazed and then I got a little shy. I wanted Enri to see me like this and compliment me.

Just the thought of it made me giddy.

The captain was waiting for me at the entrance of the palace preparing the regular carriage where I met him all dressed up.

He was wearing casual clothes, but his tight-fit shirt made him look so dashing it made my heart race. I had to calm myself down before walking up to him.

I took a deep breath as I approached him and smiled, "Captain!" He finally turned to look at me and paused for a moment, "I'm here." He was stunned for a moment, then examined me from top to bottom which made my heart race. I was expecting something now.

Something like, "You look nice," The anticipation was killing me but what I got was worse.

He didn't say anything at all.

"Shall we go?" He simply extended his hand towards me to help me up the carriage.

"Yes," I replied softly feeling a little down.

I had hoped that he would at least compliment me since I made all this effort to look good just for him.

My downcast feelings only lasted till the time we made it to town because I was mesmerized by everything there. There were all sorts of entertainment going on and there was a lot to see and every single thing caught my attention.
