"Oh a new customer."
She places her things down before making her way to the front. Approaching the new customer as she meets a familiar male.

"Lilyyy!" A voice rang in the air, bringing a small smile on her face.
"Soobin! What are you doing here?" She questions, greeting him happily.
"Came by to visit you, and because I wanted to pick out some flowers for my sisters highschool graduation..." He answers as the two shared a small hug.

"Oh tell your sister that I said hi and congratulations.."
Soobin being distracted by what Lily was saying when he caught sight of a male stood at the back of the shop, glaring at him. His hands crossed above his chest as his eyebrows were furrowed. He felt like he was staring at Satan himself which scared and intimidated him to say the least. So he lets go of her, whispering something into Lily's ears.

"Who's that guy at the back?" Soobin asked as Lily looked behind to see Renjun watering a pot of plants. Soobin's eyes widening when seeing the male quickly changing his demeanour so he wouldn't get caught staring at them by Lily.

Wah this guy???!?! Soobin thought to himself.

"Oh that's my boyfriend, don't mind him." She replies as a moment of realisation hit him.
"Ahh no wonder why. He's the guy that you're always talking about--."
"Shhhh! Don't say that out loud. I don't want him to hear." She hushed him as he couldn't help but to chuckle.

"Anyways, which type of flowers are you planning to give your sister?" She changes the topic as she walks him over to where all the flowers are beautifully displayed.
"Hmm.. I wanted to go with peonies since my sister really likes them. But I for one, in my opinion, wanted to get her Cecilia's. It's white, and it'll do great with the situation of her finally stepping into adulthood." He explains.
"I see. How about we use both flowers in a bouquet? To symbolise childhood and the end of it." She suggested. Taking a generous amount of peonies and cecilia's before she put them all together into a bundle.

Soobin didn't dare to speak or question her. She was the expert so whatever she was doing would turn out great at the end.

...

"Thanks Lily. This looks really beautiful, I'm sure my sister would end up loving it too! I came to the right person." Soobin thanking the girl as she rolls her eyes playfully at the end when hearing his late statement.
"I'll be leaving now. Her ceremony starts in twenty minutes, and I don't want to get there late. See you some other time.. and thanks again!" He bid his goodbye before running out of the flower shop.

She smiles as she watches her friend leaves. Turning her back as she heads towards the workstation to clean everything up. Lily being able to see Renjun stood there as he examines her.

"You looked like you were having a lot of fun talking to that guy." He said. Trying to act cool and unbothered so it wouldn't show his jealousy.
"Oh you meant Soobin? Yeah. We haven't met in a long time. He's been too busy drowning in his assignments these last few weeks." She replies, raising a brow at the end to provoke him.

He just stood there gritting his teeths. "Who was he?"
"A close friends of mines." She answers, tidying up the mess that she had caused earlier.
"You seem to be friends with all the males that comes over to the flower shop." He stated. A tint of sarcasm evident in his voice as he let out a snicker at the end.
"Don't tell me that you're jealous Injun? Soobin has actually been a really close friend of mines since I was little, along side with Lia and Beomgyu, the guy that came over a couple weeks ago." She explains herself.
"Me jealous? I wasn't jealous. I was just asking tsk." He denies the fact that he was indeed jealous before looking away.
"Yeah, yeah, keep saying that to yourself." Lily chanted as she tried to get the hair that was covering her face out of the way.

"Ugh this long hair is starting to get annoying." She complains. Renjun just studying her before he placed his wrist out in front of her.
"Take the hair tie." He said as she looks at his wrist.
"Why do you have two hair ties around your wrist. Do you usually have it with you at all times?" She questions him before taking a hair tie off his hands.
"I carry hair ties for myself. My hair is growing really fast and it gets hot, so I need something to tie it and get it out of the way. Then when I started dating you, I started carrying an extra pair. Incase you needed it, you have really pretty long hair." Said Renjun.

Lily's cheeks heating up as she wasn't able to concentrate on tying her hair properly. Strands of hair becoming loose at the front as she lowers her head to hide her face. (making renjun the type of bf who would wear hair ties around his wrist incase his s/o needs it to tie their hair 🤭).

"You can't even tie your hair properly." He pointed out before removing the hair tie off of her hair and proceeding to tie her hair himself.
"Yeah that's why I need to cut it, but my family are against it." She sighs.
"Why?" He asks.
"I don't know. They're so used to seeing my hair long. Said it's too precious to cut it short. I mean, it's just freaking hair?!? It'll grow out eventually at the end." She complains before frowning.
"I think you'd look really cute in short hair, I mean I could already imagine it myself (simp). Try rebelling against them, I don't know."
"The only thing I'll end up doing is giving them a heart attack when they see my new hair." She said, thinking of their reactions as she couldn't help surpass a laughter.

*triing!

"Lily!" A voice interrupting their moment as a new customer (more specifically a male customer) had entered the shop. Renjun throwing a look as yet another male came. His girlfriend must be popular amongst the male or something.

"Hao what are you doing here?" Lily quickly going over to the male as she had a very displeased look on her face when seeing her own brother visit her.
"Did you not check your phone?" Her brother asked as Lily shook her head a no.
"I left my phone at home hehe.."
He could only shake his head in disbelief.
"Well you stupid idiot, I came by to tell you that grandma had just landed in Korea. Mom told me to come pick you up." He explains as she widens her eyes.

Ahh so he's her older brother?

"Shoot, I forgot that she was visiting... alright I'll go pack up my stuff now." She said and went over to the backroom, passing Renjun as now only the two lads were alone together.

He just shifted in his place awkwardly as the male in front of him just stares at him in intimidation. Grinning when realising that his presence was making Renjun uncomfortable. Her brother was honestly such a menace.

"Hi I'm Minghao. Lily's older brother. You must be Renjun." He greeted before walking over to him.
"Uh yeah... Nice to meet you, I guess." Renjun replied, about to walk away from him when Minghao ruffled his hair.
"Aigoo my sisters boyfriend is so cute and tiny." He cooes as it annoyed the lad.
Gritting his teeth before pushing Minghao's hands off.
"I'm not cute and tiny. You're so freaking weird." He groans. Minghao instead of stopping only smiled in glee.
"That's not what Lily said." The older lad stated. (He was of course lying, Lily had never said any of those things to her brother. He just wanted to get a reaction out of him.)
"She what?--"

"Hao I'm done packing. Should we leave now?" She interrupted them before staring at the two.
"Ah yes. Let's get going then, don't want to get lectured by grandma for being late." Her brother replied before leaving.

She faces Renjun to quickly bid her goodbyes.
"I have to leave now. See you tomorrow injun." Waving at him before following her brother out.

As Minghao exited the shop, something dropped out of the pockets of his blazer.

"Hey! You dropped something!" It was too late as they had already left. Renjun sighing before going over towards the door to get the item that he had dropped.
A hair clip and a business card.

"I guess I'll go over to their place once I'm done with my shift." He spoke to himself before putting the hair clip in his pockets and getting back to work.
