CHAEWON POV

It was cold. Very cold for me. Especially at my wrist. My left wrist to be more specific. My eyes shot open and i looked around. I was still in yesterday's blood smeared clothes. I was sitting on a cold floor with one my hands up in the air and cold metal at the wrist. I looked at it and saw a handcuff. The other loop around a metal bar. 

I deduced i was in some sort of a cell they had in their basement maybe. 

I licked my lips and realized how thirsty and hungry i was. I cursed at myself for not eating a heavy dinner yesterday. 

Heavy footsteps made me face the free space past my cell that was separated by a clear glass wall. I gulped as they got closer and then the guy from yesterday came out. He saw me awake and then faced someone who was not visible to me yet. That was until they stepped forward and i saw a younger girl.

She looked strong. She looked like she could beat me up. But she also looked very weak.

???2: That's her?

???1: Yup.

I gulped again and the girl shook her head.

???2: Feed her Jaehyun. We need her alive.

Jaehyun: Fine.

So he was Jaehyun.

Anyway... he didn't seem happy with the words said by the girl. He looked at me, inspecting me. That sent tingles down my body and i suddenly felt insecure. 

???2: Stop looking at her like that. Clearly you have an effect on her. 

Jaehyun: What do you mean?

???2: Nothing.

The girl rolled her eyes and folded her arms. But then another man came in. He looked as old as Jaehyun. 

He gave me a cautious look before facing the girl in urgency.

???3: Jeno is back.  

Whoever this Jeno was seemed important to the girl as she immediately ran off. 

Jaehyun: Jungwoo... give Nari some food to eat. She should be able to eat now that he is back.

The new boy who seemed to be Jungwoo nodded at Jaehyun's word and went in the same direction the Nari girl ran off to. And the girl... she seemed to be close to Jaehyun too. 

The next thing happened too quickly. 

The glass opened and he brought in a plate of food. From where he had whipped out the food was unknown but i didn't care as long as i had anything to eat. And i was sure my hunger was visible as he chuckled. 

Jaehyun: You must be so hungry Chaewon. Didn't have dinner last night?

He placed the plate of food in front of me. I looked at it before looking back at him as he sat in front of me.

Chaewon: Free me. 

Jaehyun: Why would i?

Chaewon: So that i can eat freely. 

He stared at me before laughing and placing his hands behind his back on the floor. He leaned back and looked at me with an amused look.

Jaehyun: I know you are smart. But do you think i am that dumb to do as you say?

 He dropped his smile looking at me with cold eyes.

Jaehyun: I know enough about you to know that you are a right handed person. That is why i cuffed your left hand. You eat if you want to. I am not uncuffing you. 

I gulped. But ended up coughing because of the dryness. He opened the water bottle and handed it to me. I took it and drank half of the bottle in one go.

Jaehyun: Eat something and then maybe we can attempt to have a conversation hmm?

I took a bite of the food.

Chaewon: If it's about the stupid documents my father had stolen. 

I took another bite of food and looked at him.

Chaewon: I don't know shit. If you want you can check with the secret locker hidden behind my dad's shelf. Code is, "27134"

Seeing his frown i went back to the food.

Jaehyun: This is not the first time you were held hostage were you?

I froze midway of chewing and gave him a glance. He gave me a neutral look in return so i just went back to eating.

Chaewon: Yeah...

Jaehyun: How many times?

Chaewon: Three.

Jaehyun: And your father did nothing?

I dropped the utensils and looked at him. 

Chaewon: If only he cared. He is only tolerating me because...

why am i telling this dude anything?

Chaewon: because then no one will bother him. All gangs will come for me. None of the gangs earlier believed me so i ran away. 

Jaehyun: Then why go back to him?

I chuckled.

Chaewon: I would end up in the streets. At least with him i get food and shelter. Besides he wouldn't let me run away. Without me he will be targeted.  

I looked right into his eyes.

Chaewon: I bet you... He won't come looking for me.

JAEHYUN POV

I sighed as we sat in the meeting hall.

Taeyong: How much longer?

Johnny: They should be back soon. 

If only he cared. 

Taeyong: I need them here.

Taeil: Patience Tae.

Taeyong just groaned. 

I bet you... He won't come looking for me.

Ten: Jaehyun? Jaehyun!

Jaehyun: huh?

I said flinching.

Ten: You are going to rip through the page. 

I looked down and saw i was pressing my pen onto the page while scribbling. 

Taeyong: Is something on your mind. 

Jaehyun: Um no... 

I sat up straight and flipped the page as the doors opened. But i saw the next page was effected too. So i skipped a few pages as the medics settled down. 

Kun: Sorry Tae... something held us back.

He sent an accusing glare at Jungwoo who just looked at his shoes. I raised an eyebrow but since everyone decided to ignore it, so did I. 

Soo-Jeong: What about Chaewon?

Taeyong: Jaehyun will deal with her. Right?

Jaehyun: Y-Yeah. 

He raised an eyebrow but i just looked away. 

Taeyong: Anyway... let's begin on the updates for Venom. Because... i sure have some things to say. 

Oh boy.
