JAEHYUN POV

I woke up in a stir. Once i started registering my surroundings i looked at my hand. The cuff still sat there. And then i realized.

FUCK! Did i just sleep next to-

I looked at the girl next to me who... was not there. I quickly checked my pockets. The Key... it's gone. 

I am such an idiot.

But a door opened making him face the toilet. Chaewon came out of it and looked at me. Her face stayed neutral as she sat back next to me and handed me the key, offering her hand to me.

Chaewon: Did i scare you?

I looked at her as she sheepishly smiled. I scoffed.

Jaehyun: No shit. Thought today would be my last day. But you are so stupid. You could run away.

I said and cuffed her hand back.

Chaewon: Nothing to run away from. 

I looked at her but she just stared at her hand. I looked down too, meeting with a bluish mark.

Jaehyun: You could have woken me up instead of pulling such a stunt.

Chaewon: You looked peaceful while sleeping.

Jaehyun: What?

Chaewon: What?

Jaehyun: What did you say?

She hesitated a bit.

Chaewon: Nothing.

She said and looked away. A chuckle escaped my lips.

Chaewon: Anyway... now what?

Jaehyun: Now we wait for a female member to arrive so i can go talk to our leader about you helping us?

Chaewon: Will he let me free after that?

Jaehyun: Maybe from the Cell... from the house? Definitely not.

She nodded but stayed silent. And it stayed that way. The silence made my eyes droopy. But her own voice broke the ice making me sit up and face her.

Chaewon: Jaehyun?

Jaehyun: What?

Chaewon: Do you still want to kill me?

Jaehyun: What?

Chaewon: I heard... from the other girls... you have been hunting me for years. And i didn't believe it. 

Jaehyun: But its true...?

Chaewon: Then why are you nice to me?

I gulped. And i thanked the gods when the glass door slid open and Haesoo stepped in. I stood up and uncuffed myself, returning it's place to the steel bar. I saw her wince and was tempted to take the cuff off of her.

But then again... why was i nice to her?

I shook my head and tossed the key to Haesoo and faced Chaewon. I had to distance myself... and the best thing i could think of was installing fear.

Jaehyun: Remember Chaewon... if your help turns out to be a disadvantage for us, you will be killed. And i wouldn't hesitate to shoot you myself.

CHAEWON POV

I gulped and watched him leave. What's up with him? Being all nice and then pulling out dialogues like this.

Haesoo: Interesting. What did you say to make him threaten you?

Chaewon: I only asked him why he was nice to me.
