CHAEWON POV

Jaehyun: You are telling me... HANSOL IS YOUR FUCKING BROTHER!?

Chaewon: Yes.

I squeaked out. I didn't expect such a reaction. I thought he knew. I thought all of them knew. 

Jaehyun: Fucking hell.

His scream had reduced to a whisper as he just stared at me. 

Jaehyun: Bad. This is bad. Terrible even. No. What?

I heard him rant out words as he paced around the room. He then stopped right in front of me, glaring right into my eyes.

Jaehyun: Any other family member of yours that has joined the party? 

Chaewon: No.

My voice was very low but i was sure he heard. He took a step closer to me making me step back.

Jaehyun: Perhaps... you?

My breath hitched. There is no way he was thinking so low of me. Siding with my father? Heck no. Maybe Jaehyun was just mad and needed answers to cool down. So i looked him dead in the eye -

Dang why was he so close to me.

- and readied myself with an answer. But that didn't happen as the door flew open and Jaehyun turned to face it. A frantic Jaemin stood there. He frowned at our closeness but then zeroed in on Jaehyun.

Jaemin: They are back.

Jaehyun: Already? They shouldn't have been back till midnight.

Jaemin: I know... but they are hurt. Nari, Taeyong, Jieun... all three of them.

Jaehyun's eyes widened before turning to me.

Jaehyun: You stay here.

I quickly nodded and saw him dash out of the room with Jaemin.

The next time the door opened was when it was past midnight. Jaehyun walked in with a tired look on his face. I watched him from my seat near the window. My knees were held close to me. 

My eyes followed his body as he sat on the other side of the seating area, staring into space.

Jaehyun: Did i scare you earlier?

His voice was hoarse. As if he didn't speak from a long while. I decided to be truthful.

Chaewon: A little.

He nodded and stayed silent. I didn't see the point of the question as i just stared at the moon. It was my sense of comfort. The sounds of night. The light cool breeze passed through the grills and wrapped around my body.

Jaehyun: Sorry.

I didn't expect it. And when the word left his mouth it was almost a whisper as if he didn't want me to hear it.
