Changing in Seconds

Chapter 3

People were tired of the mysterious happenings each day. Since the Wisest came up with a theory, it was his job to come up with the solution. He worked hard to find the solution. He found a solution one year ago and told nobody yet. That was because he did not want the people to be in danger like his daughter Sierra.

It was brand new day, some of the people came in to meet with him. They knocked on the sturdy door made from an oak tree. In a few seconds the door opened with a loud creak. Behind it stood a tall, thin man wearing a white shirt and navy blue pants. "Come on in," the Wisest said politely.

The people followed him in and were seated in the small, yet well maintained room. It had an orange sofa placed against the wall. A small, glass table with a smooth rug under it was in the center of the room. The room was filled with light from the sun and that made it look even better.

The Wisest took a seat on the chair across from the sofa and asked, "What brings you all here today?"

"We are tired of these happenings. We know you have been working on a solution, please tell us how far along you are." The lady in the smooth red dress said.

" I am really close to a solution. I think we can solve the problem soon. However, if I tell you the solution, it will be very dangerous to your lives, and because of that I am not going to tell you all." he said firmly, but in a kind way that showed he cared for his people.

"Very well then, we will be on our way. Please let us know if you need any help with your plan," the oldest of them said without asking anything else.

" Okay! Thank you for coming. It feels nice to have some company once in a while, " the Wisest said as they walked out of the door.

As they left the Wisest closed the door behind him and decided that it was time for plan to actually come into action.
