Reader pov
I wander through the facility, bat in hand, or atleast, was in hand, till i got to the main area where a slime pup came and nabbed it!
To which ofcourse i chased after them to get it back, only for it to be a trap as the second i get within range of the pup that took my bat a whole army of the translucent pups popped out of who knows where and tackled me, only to just pile onto me in a dog pile like manner, or, would it be considered a puppy pile? Probably.
Though, now i was stuck, under a pile of happy or sleepy little pups, wasn't Sinox meant to watch them? Ah well, too late now i suppose, they already got me in their trap.
Not that i mind much, its kinda cozy. But its a bunch of slime pups? Still cozy. I like it, its almost like their happy demeanor melts away any worries or stress.
Damn, maybe this was their plan all along, to force me to rest and stop worrying.
Curse you adorable balls of goo and fur for being so smart yet so mischievous, curse you.
