Allen woke up to blinding lights, a headache, a sore throat, and his arm hurting. He felt a heavy weight on his leg. He sat up with a groan and he felt sick after. He rubbed his eyes and looked at the weight. It was Nea sleeping on his legs. Flashbacks of what happened last night filled his mind. Guilt fills him as he remembers how Nea tried to comfort him. All he tried to do was be there for Allen and that fact alone made his eyes water. 'Not right now.' Allen thinks and wipes the oncoming tears away.

He fights the urge to cry. He examines his sleeping uncle and notices he hasn't changed out of his outfit from last night. Again, guilt stabs him. 'I just ruined his clothes.' Allen thought. He sighs once more and places his right hand on Nea's head. He sees the bandages that run up his arm and sighs. He decides to ignore it and pets Nea.

Allen brushes the bangs out of Nea and examines his sleeping face. He noticed that Nea had a bad case of eyebags and his eyes were a little puffy. 'He must have stayed up all night crying and worrying about me.' Allen thought as he retracted his hand. He sighs once more and looks out the window next to him. It was bright out, hinting that it was afternoon. Allen's frown grows. His friends were probably worried.

The door opens and he focuses his attention on that. A doctor walks in and smiles at him. "Ah, you're awake!" The doctor says. Allen nods. "Well, I'm Dr. Johnny. How are you feeling, Mr. Walker?" Dr. Johnny asks. "Shitty," Allen replies with a very soft voice. That's the loudest he can get for a little while. "How so?" Dr. Johnny questions. "Sore, sick, and aching," Allen replies. Dr. Johnny writes something on his clipboard and nods.

"Well, I'll be going for a little bit. I'll be back with some medication." Dr. Johnny says and leaves. Allen sighs. He feels Nea move a little and he wakes up. Nea yawns. "Nea," Allen says. Nea instantly wakes up from his groggy state and moves his chair closer to the back of the bed. Nea holds Allen in a light embrace. Allen holds him back and lets a tear slip from his eye.

Nea and Allen release each other from their hug and Nea holds Allen's hands. "Al, why?" Nea asks with sorrow in his voice. It took every fiber of Allen's being not to cry. "U-Usually when I h-have a br-reakdown, I-I wanna be alone. This t-time was different t-than the others. There w-was too much g-going on. I'm s-sorry, Nea." Allen replies. Nea sighs and lays his head on Allen's lap. "You are having the right to be alone stripped from you until your mental health improves," Nea informs. Allen nods. "I'll make sure to stay out of your way though," Nea adds.

The door opens and Dr. Johnny comes back. They both look at him. "Ah, so you're both awake! Anyway, I brought your medication, Mr. Walker." Dr. Johnny says. He brings the medicine to the boy along with a cup of water. Allen takes it and returns the cup to Dr. Johnny. "You can leave whenever you want, but I advise you to repose for a good bit until you feel well enough to move." Dr. Johnny informs. Allen nods. "Thank y-you," he says. Dr. Johnny gives him a small smile and leaves.

"You're extremely lucky right now. I had to fight with some of the staff here to not take you to a psychiatric hospital. You'll just simply be attending therapy every Tuesday." Nea informs. Allen nods. "On top of that, you'll be taking a break for a week and have restricted use of your arm. There was an incredible amount of damage." Nea adds. Allen nods.

The room falls silent after a while. "You should go back to sleep. I can tell you barely got any sleep." Allen says. "Mmm, no. Why would I sleep when my beloved nephew is awake?" Nea states. Allen blushes and pouts. Nea lightly laughs at him. "Do you wanna go somewhere after you feel better? Like a restaurant or a cinema?" Nea asks. "No, I just wanna go home. Can we go home?" Allen asks. Nea ruffles Allen's hair and gives him a light smile. "Sure," he replies.

The duo exits the hospital and go into their car. They start driving home and Allen falls back asleep on the way there. Nea carried his nephew into the house and into his bedroom. Nea cleaned up the glass and blood while also clearing the room of anything Allen could cut himself on. He gave Allen one last head pat before going to sleep in his own room.
