broken marriage: diana and charles

chapter 17: wine and dine

diana's pov:
i turned my head because i had felt a tap on my shoulder and it was charles. i looked down and nudged james with my elbow. Since me and james were now "seeing" eachother i had opened up about what he had done to me and james despises him now. he looked at me after he felt my elbow and i tilted my head to show him that charles was here. James finally saw him. He moved his arm from my waist and he carefully handed me william and nudged us a bit behind him.
"what do you need charles" he said
"to speak to my wife"
"well she's right here isn't she" i stopped out from behind him but not too much. He looked at me directly in the eyes and said
"alone" i handed wills back to james and said i'd be right back and i stepped forward to charles. He grabbed my hand and walked me to  my car
"what is it" i looked down the entire time. He tilted my chin up and apologized to me. He took me into the bathroom and gave me a peck on the lips. I didn't know what to do. I backed away
"Charles-i-i can't."
"why not" he asked
"because i found somebody who loves me and so did you" i looked down again
"no diana." he said sternly "we're the one for eachother" and he tried to kiss me again but i pulled back and said
"hold on" i turned to walk out but then turned back "i'll be back in 2 minutes don't leave"
i walked out of the bathroom and told james to take will home and that i'd be home in an hour. He was hesitant but i convinced him.
I walked back into the bathroom and charles pushes my hair behind my ear. He kissed me. I was getting hot. I hadn't had him for so long. I-i didn't know what to do- so i gave in. We went into my car and it got heated. I dropped him off at kensington and headed back to my place
