Akaashi Keiji grew up as an only child, it's not like he had a sad childhood. Although he couldn't really recall most of it. Maybe there were times when he would feel lonely as a kid when he sees other kids hanging around with their siblings during weekends.
And perhaps that was why he sought company with other people, choosing to play volleyball because there were a lot of players to hang out with. He did have quite an interesting high school, all because of that one volleyball captain and ace of their high school team.
But now that Akaashi is all grown, with a family of his own, he couldn't help but think about it sometimes.
"About how I think it's better if Kumi has a sibling."
You looked at Akaashi when he spoke and he looked back at you.
"You were asking me what I was thinking about," he said. "That's what I was thinking."
"Oh, so you were thinking about that too."
"Too?"
You took the book he was holding, placing it on the bed before you moved in front of him, a playful smile on your lips.
