"I'm really sorry please forgive me" he said
"Fuck you!" I was about to leave but he cling to me like a koala. I tried to loosen his grip but he wouldn't budge
"I'm sorry" he said with a slight tremble in his voice
"I have lost you once I don't want to lose you again" I heard as he whispered in my ear. I slowly reached out to him and flipped him as he landed on the tiles breaking it and leaving a huge dent in the process
"Then twice it is" I spoke then left him on the floor grunting
I quickly reached my pocket then realized that I left my phone
"shit I'm not going back there I already made my grand exit" I sighed to myself still contemplating if I should go or not
I stood there silently and groaned
"Ughhhhhh I don't want to go back there!! He's probably ugghhhhh but I need my phone! You know what I'll go!" I yelled then when I arrived
I caught a glimpse of Nanami he sitting in the floor with his head hung low
"Yu if only you were here we would probably be friends and fighting together. Your the only one who can keep us together" he sighed
I stayed behind the door staring at his helpless figure. I quietly listened to him talking to Yu
I remembered him dying just a few days after my brother's funeral. I was heart broken I tried to kill myself

"We'll be having another mission" Haibara said with a small smile trying to comfort me. Eversince the funeral everything was off
"We can do it" Nanami said while holding his sword. I stared at the boy as the three of us went to the car
"What grade of curses is it" I asked while I lay my head on Nanami's shoulder. He just simply sighed knowing the girl is tired
"It's a 3rd grade so I'll probably be weak" he responded
"Why do they even make us do this mission it's not even that hard. It's just a stupid 3rd grade curse" I sighed
"Maybe it's to prepare us I suppose but I know all of us would be fine" Yu said while looking at the window with a smile
"We are here" we stopped at an abandon building it was more like a hospital. No it's an orphanage
We casted a veil
"This place is too big they said 9 people went missing here?" I asked
"Mostly high schoolers doing challenges got best of their stupidity" Nanami responded
When we entered the hospital nothing felt special. It was just silent I could see few curses roaming around
"So should we split up?" I asked
"I don't think we should" Yu spoke this place felt too safe.
We heard children laughters. I found it eerie in this abandon place
"Hello"
AAAAAAAAAHHH
Me and Yu immediately cling to Nanami as we saw a child and the worst part it has no eyes. The child had stitches on its neck.
"Mama, can you help me find mama"
"Should I kill it?" I whispered Nanami nodded his head as the child was cut into pieces and simply exploded
"phew that was all" Yu sighed in relief
When he turned around we were surrounded by many more children with the same look as the one earlier
Yu used his Cursed technique as all of the children dissappear like air
"I don't think this is the source" Nanami said which I agreed
"We went further the orphanage"
We then heard a child crying. We saw one that looked like a real child. It didn't have button for eyes or any stitches on it's neck
Yu approach the child
"Hey there kiddo are you lost"
The ground suddenly crumbled as we all fall down. Luckily Nanami was a decent cushion. While Yu fell on top of me
"That was painful" I winced then stared at my palm seeing blood.
Nanami was still underneath me as I looked at Yu that has a big hole in his stomach. Blood dripping everywhere as my heart skipped a beat. Feeling my spine shivered.
"Yu...."

Present
Nanami seen a familiar strand of hair flowing near his door. As he looked closer. He saw her already asleep with her head hung low
He gently hoist the girl up and placed the girl in the bed but was shocked when she pulled him close to her
Nanami was practically touching her. As he stared at her relaxed face he felt his stress slowly vanish. He pulled her closer to his arms and gently placed a kiss on her forehead
"I'm here now please let me continue to be with you" he whispered
"There's no turn backs anymore" He heard her mumble against his chest
"So you forgive me?" he asked
"Sure I guess"
