Hyunjin was exposed to bright light first thing in the morning as he sleepishly groped his way toward his buzzing phone. The sun seemed to purposefully tease him with her hot beam and that was the first thing irritating him this day.
The second followed right after he finally picked up his phone.
"Yeah?" the blonde answered without checking who called.
"Hyunjin i'm sorry for bothering you on a sunday morning but we need you on the station imidiatly."
Hyunjin sighed.
He now noticed his hurting head from the sins he committed yesterday and the voice of his boss on the other end didn't help at all.

"Sir, this is my only free day of the week. Couldnt you reach out to anyone else?" Hyunjin said. His voice was painfully hoarse. God what did he do to himself?
He pushed his blanket to the side already knowing his boss wont let him stay home today.

"Hyunjin i wouldn't have called if this wasn't urgent. There is just too much happening today, we really need you. I'll pay you good, i promise."
And then the old man just hung up like he always did.
Hyunjin wanted to scream at his phone but he just stood up almost losing his balance as he put on his slippers.

"Fucking bastard"
The blonde grabbed a towel on his way to the bathroom.

He absolutely hated mornings like this.
It frustrated him as he thought about the plans he originally had for today all disappearing after this work call.
But that was his live now and the blonde had to learn that really fast.
He worked at the police station for over a year now, right after he graduated, and living normally wasn't easy since then.

Even if Hyunjin was only 22 years old he already had his college diploma in psychology.
He was really smart that's why he reached all of his graduations faster than the average person.
Some might wonder why he decided to become an officer although he graduated in psychology?

Well Hyunjin wasn't an easy person. He always wanted to do a lot of things. He hated settling for one thing so he simply didn't.
Besides, his psychology skills came in handy working with criminals or just people in general.

After his quick shower the blonde dried up his body and put on some casual clothes as he was later changing into his uniform anyways.
He walked into his kitchen and was imidatly greeted by the love of his live rolling around on the floor.

Hyunjin smiled slightly and bent down to pet his soft belly.
"Hey baby" he softly spoke to the chihuahua.
The dog snuggled up to his hand as he was looking up with his sparkling eyes.
Hyunjin sighed.
"I'm sorry Kkami, I can't spend this day with you again."
Kkami rolled over looking up a bit disappointed. Well at least Hyunjin thought he was disappointed...

As Hyunjin arrived at the station he almost ran toward the changing room, avoiding any sort of smalltalk with his coworkers. He wanted to get over with this day as quickly as possible.
The blonde opned his locker getting all the things he needed.
As he finished straightening his tight uniform, he grabbed his gun and checked if everything was in place.

"There you are! Thank God." He heard his bosses voice as he walked out the changing room. The small old man walked toward him imidiatly and Hyunjin would've rolled his eyes if he didn't have some self control.

"Good mornig Sir." He said instead with a slight fake smile.
The officer just nodded. He seemed stressed.
"Hyunjin there was a call just a second ago. The shop owner was angry and the thief left about two minutes ago. I'll send the location to your car. Take Chan with you." He talked while pushing the younger towards the exit.

Hyunjin wasn't overwhelmed. Infact he got used to start working imidiatly.
"CHAN COME OUT FROM WHEREVER YOU ARE." His boss screamed into the walkie talkie.
Hyunjin just walked out toward his police car getting the engine on.
He checked the navigation system and put the address on.
His head was still hurting but he tried to ignore it. This was more important now and if he didn't concentrate things might go wrong.
