Hyunjin thought about Chans words the whole night as he was unable to fall asleep for some reason.
He felt regret.
He knew he shouldn't have kissed Felix.

If his boss was about to find out he was hiding a thief and on top of that was interested in the latter, it will be guaranteed he was loosing his Job.

Of course his boss had noticed Felix helping in his office the past week but Hyunjin had explained that he was just a friend trying to take a bit weight of his shoulders.
He really had to be carefull with his actions from now on because to be honest he didn't want to lose his Job.

That's why he didn't answer Felix message wishing him a good morning that day.
To make it worse the text was followed with a cute cat emoji resembling the younger.

Hyunjin had to restrain himself if he wanted to keep this relationship professional.

As he walked in his office later that day he didn't even dare to look Felix in the eyes. He was sitting at his desk already playing with his phone.

As he looked up he smiled brightly making it very painfull for the older.
"Hey Felix."
Felix frowned at the expression in the olders face but he decided to ignore it.

Busy day?

Hyunjin read on the note the younger gave him. He sat down shaking his head. "No, just tired. I don't have alot of work for you today, so you can go home earlier." Hyunjin answered.

Felix could feel something has shifted within the officer. Hyunjin seemed cold and the intimidating expression made him feel a bit uncomfortable.

"Actually I don't need you here every day Lix. Let's say you come here Wednesdays and Fridays from know on okay?"
Hyunjin suddenly said making the younger confused.

Felix just nodded not knowing what caused him to make this difference.
He looked down at his wrist where Hyunjins bracelet was still shining. He tried to hide it, embaressed that he even put it on  in the first place.

Why did he think Hyunjin would be closer to him after they had kissed? Maybe he didn't even think much of it?
Or worse what if he didn't like it in the first place? But that couldn't be it regarding his actions from yesterday...

Felix took the braclet of sliding it into his pockets before he took the documents Hyunjin gave him.
He quickly did his Job trying to not look in Hyunjins direction.

As he was finished he quickly slid the folder infront of Hyunjin. He couldn't bear the awkward tension in the room any longer so he stood up putting on his jacket slowly.
Hyunjin looked up.
"Great Job, see you tomorrow."

Felix just smiled shortly before he took his bag and walked out the room.
He sighed as he got out of the station.
The student felt quiet the opposite feelings he felt until this morning.

On the other hand he tried to calm himself down, because what if Hyunjin just had a bad day?

Whatever it was Felix decided to walk home fast that evening, trying not to look at any store he was walking by.

Are you busy?

Hyunjin grabbed his phone. He was confused since it was past midnight. Even tho he was up at that time he usually never got messages.
His painting brush fell to the floor as he saw who it was.

No, everything okay?

Hyunjin replied fast.
Yes he wanted to distance himself from him. Yes he kept this up for the past two days.
But seeing this message without the usual Emojis he used made him feel worried.

I need you

Hyunjins heart dropped. A thousand thoughts were spinning in his head.
He was just hoping he was okay so he quickly typed as he stood up from his chair.

Where are you?

Kkami jumped up aswell running around Hyunjins legs. The officer grabbed his leash putting it on the dog.
He checked his phone for an answer but there was nothing. He gulped.
