It had been 1 week since Percy and Annabeth did it. But Annabeth had failed to notice that she had missed her period until 2 weeks after.
Annabeth was on her way home from her architect firm. She had just finished her shift.
When Annabeth had gotten into the car, she realized that there were no groceries at home and she was cooking today. So she went to Walmart and bought some groceries. Then she went over to the medicine (?) aisle. She stared at the pregnancy tests. I mean, they had had unprotected sex, right? She might have been pregnant. She bought three tests.
When she had got home, she walked straight to the restroom with the three tests in her hand. She didn't unpack the groceries as she was too excited and Percy was still at work (marine biologist, lifeguard and part time surfer (HoH reference)).
"Okay," she muttered. "Let's do this."
After 5 minutes, the results had come back.
Positive.
Annabeth screamed in a totally un-Annabeth way.
"Okay, Annabeth," she said, barely containing her excitement. "You still have to do the second and third test."
Second test.
Positive.
Third test.
Positive.
Annabeth screamed really loud.
Percy ran in. "Babe, are you okay?"
"Seaweed Brain, I'm more than okay. I'm pregnant!"
A look of disbelief spread across Percy's face. "No...Wise Girl, are you serious?"
"Yup!" Annabeth grabbed the three tests and waved it at his face.
A huge grin spread to Percy's ears. He picked Annabeth up and spun her around. When he had set her down, he bent down and kissed her stomach.
He started talking to it.
"Mommy and Daddy are really excited for you to come out! But don't give Mommy a hard time, okay?"
Annabeth laughed. It was a sweet and refreshing sound.
"Come, let's go watch The Little Mermaid as celebration!" Percy said excitedly.
"Ugh, no, Seaweed Brain we've watched that like 30 times already! Since I'm pregnant, I get to choose what movie we get to watch!" Annabeth laughed wickedly.
"Fine. But after these 8 months, I'm going to start choosing again."
"9, Seaweed Brain!"
"Practically the same thing."

They were sleeping peacefully on the couch. Annabeth was laying on Percy, while Percy was drooling on her hair.
We all wish this moment could last. But, of course, Percy and Annabeth's strong scent has to ruin everything.
The monster tracker alarm went off. Percy and Annabeth jumped right up on their feet.
Percy muttered a few curses under his breath. "I'll go out and deal with it. Annabeth, you stay here."
Annabeth argued back. "What? No! I'm coming with you!"
"No, Annabeth, you can't fight when you're pregnant!" Percy made those baby seal eyes he knew Annabeth couldn't resist. "Please? For our baby and I? Please stay inside."
