The tortoise and the hare (Leo x Yuichi)

Try a day part 1

Narrator pov:

Yuichi and Leo return back to the temple to see if the others were awake. When they get to the steps, the two are greeted by Gen, Kitsune, and Chizu.

"Welcome back, Usagi" said kitsune "Had to show him around without us?"

"Oh no, he was just getting hungry so I went with him to get something small, that's all." Yuichi quickly explained

"Right" Gen responded

"So, are my brothers up?" Leo asked

"Eh, we'll leave that up to you and find out" Kitsune answered.

"What? They're still sleeping? Because I know that's somewhat normal for Donnie but not raph or Mikey."

Leo walks into the temple and opens the door to the room he and his brothers were staying in and the results, it left him feeling a bit jealous: it was his brothers hitting each other with the pillows and the blankets.

"Oh come on, I left for a little bit and here you guys are, beating each other with pillows without me?" Leo said

"Well like you said, you weren't here and Mikey started it" Donnie responded

"No I didn't, it was all raph" Mikey shot back

"I did not! It was Donnie" raph also shot back

"Well none of this would've happened if Mikey was in my sleeping area so I only pushed him away" Donnie responded

"That's because raph was pushing me towards you also he took my space" Mikey said

"Come on, I was only doing that because Donnie kept pushing you into me. It's not my fault that I pushed him back." raph explained

"Then how did that lead to you guys- never mind" Leo was gonna ask

"It was raph, he took the pillow and threw it at Mikey." Donnie quickly said

"No I didn't" raph said

"Come on, let's just get breakfast" Leo responded

The three of them got up and went to get ready.

"Sorry about that, my brothers can be a bit wild sometimes." Leo apologized to Yuichi

"Hey!" the three shouted

"Don't worry about it" Yuichi reassured him "let's give them a moment"

The two step away from the door

*a few minutes later*

*both crews are seen at a restaurant, sitting and enjoying the food*

"Man, I gotta tell ya Yuichi, that food hits the spot" Leo said as he released a small burp afterward "excuse me"

"So, wanna tell us about who you guys are?" Chizu asked

"Well" Leo says as he sits up "We're ninjas"

"Also we're mutant turtles" Raph followed up with

"Ninjas?!" Gen shouted. "There are more ninjas?!"

"Well from where we're from, as far as we know we're the only ninjas" Mikey explained "do you have ninjas here too?"

"Why yes, our friend chizu here is part of a ninja clan" Yuichi said

"Was part of a ninja clan" chizu corrected

"Oh yeah, right, sorry"

"But I couldn't have left the group if it weren't for you guys, especially kitsune"
