Dead Love

Chapter 1

One night two young sisters whose names were Cornelia and Mary were sitting on a bench waiting for the bus to come. It was really late and they were getting very impatient. All of a sudden they heard a car horn behind them. They turned around to see a man walking towards them. He saw how tired they were from waiting and asked if they would like for him to give them a ride home. At first they hesitated but they realized the bus probably wouldn't be coming anytime soon. They told him that would be great. The man told them his name was Mark and asked where they lived. They told him and he said he didn't live very far from their house. He drove them home and they asked if he would like to come in for a while. He said sure and they ended up playing games until two in the morning. When they finally finished playing the women realized how late it was so they asked Mark if he would like to stay the night. He told them that would be great and they all went to get ready. In the morning Mark decided he didn't want to wake up the two sisters so he snuck out to go home. When Cornelia woke up she went to check on Mark and saw that he was gone. She went back upstairs to see if Mary knew where he went. She found her sister on the floor with a knife through her heart. Cornelia ran to her neighbors house as fast as she could. She asked them if they had seen a man leaving her house. They said they had seen him leaving at about seven o'clock that morning. The next thing Cornelia did was go back home and called the police. They came to her house and asked if she could describe the man. She told them he had short brown hair, his name was Mark, he drove a red corvette, and was wearing a blue jacket. The police said they would find him and take him in. Next, they took Mary's body away for an autopsy. Cornelia decided it wasn't safe for her to stay at home in case the killer came back. She went to North Carolina to stay with her brother and his family. When she got there she found him dead with his wife and his two children sitting on the couch. Cornelia hurried over to them and asked what happened. Her sister in law said she came home from picking up the kids from school to find her husband dead.
