Cornelia realized that if anyone did go in the house they would trace the evidence back to her and Lili. They had to get rid of the bodies somehow. They decided to throw them into the river and make it look like they drowned. The next day the cops were driving by the river when they spotted the bodies. They got out of their car to investigate. They called for someone to come get the bodies. When the people got there they put the bodies into body bags and put them into the back of their van. Meanwhile the two cops who found the bodies stayed behind to search for clues. After hours of searching they found something very peculiar. They found a piece of fabric from a shirt. It turns out when Lili was putting one of the bodies down her shirt got stuck in the watch of the girl. It ripped when she wasn't paying attention and fell beside the body. They took the fabric back to their lab to analyze it for DNA. They found a piece of hair that belonged to Lili. They found out where she was at by talking to people at local restaurants and stores. They told the cops that she was headed to Texas with another lady and a little boy. The cops called up the Texan police and told them to keep a look out for two young women with a little boy. They sent them pictures of the three people so they could make sure to watch for them. They gave out the pictures to everybody within a hundred mile radius and told them that if they see any of the people in the photos to contact the police station. A week later someone called the station claiming to have seen the three people. The cops asked if the person could come in for questioning. They said no they would rather stay anonymous. They said ok and asked if there was anything else she knew and she said no and she would rather not talk about it anymore.
