The Overlord's Temptation (Millie x Reader)

Chapter 9: A murderous family.

You, Millie, Moxxie, and Luna were all in the same room, you and Millie where trying to get Moxxie to shoot a picture of a family. You were all unaware of the red light going off which signaled to a deranged client. Moxxie was aiming at the family photo with a crossbow, he was shaking.

"Moxxie, stop shaking your gonna shoot our only hellhound." Millie says as she gestures to Loona and the three of you look at her. She was staring at her phone, while holding up the picture of the family.

"Wow, I feel so loved here." Loona says while rolling her eyes lightly, still looking at her phone, scrolling and looking at something.

"Just take a deep breath" Millie says as she takes a deep breath, making her cheeks enlargen with air. You and Moxxie both look at her. She releases the air from her mouth. "And let it out." She finishes.

"But, it's a family. Under what circumstances would we ever need to kill a human family." Moxxie says as he looks at the two of you with a saddish look. Millie stares at him.

"I mean if that's what the client wants." You say while shrugging your shoulders. 

"Maybe like a shitty dad or a mob family, that's understandable." Moxxie says while thinking. Millie had put her hand on her hip while looking at Moxxie, you stared at him, your arms crossed. "But to eradicate an entire innocent, seemingly innocent, upper middle class, family bloodline!?" Moxxie exclaims while gesturing to the picture of the family that Loona was holding.

Loona gets up into a sitting position looking down at the picture of the happy family while Moxxie talks. She gives a saddened look, before returning to her usual scowl.

"Hey!" Loona's sudden exclaim catches everyone's attention.

"You don't know they're innocent. This kid probably sets dogs on fire. Maybe this girl gets off to bullying Australian kids online, and this guy. This guy definitely watches." Loona says while pointing at each family members that she talked about. She finishes off with an angry and judgmental look, still pointing at the picture.

"Exactly! Humans are full of secret fucked up shit. It's why so many of them end up down here with us, but who is guilty and who isn't, ain't our business Moxxie. Killin who we are paid to is. Shoot.the.target." You finished off with demonic whispering to get your point through. He nodded sheepishly and Millie came up next to and held your hand looking up at you. You look down with a gentle smile. Moxxie starts aiming again, but doesn't shoot.

"I just think it's a bit excessive, and we could be a bit more selective, is all." Moxxie states while re-taking aim again near the end of his sentence, however, just as he finishes talking Blitz erupts through the door with a sinner.

"Guys I want you to meet." Blitz starts, however his sudden and loud entrance cause Moxxie to jump, firing the loaded arrow. The arrow bounces around the room, Millie jumps into your arms to avoid being shot, Loona watches the arrow zip past her head also hitting the photo. The arrow continues and bounces on the leg of the electric eel enclosure, it flies at the sinner, which Blitz catches, putting the arrow behind his back with a smile.

"Our newest client." Blitz says with a smile. The electric eel's enclosure collapses, and the eels land on the floor, electrocuting the floor, causing the room to be engulfed in fire. 

"DAMNIT MOXXIE, I JUST BOUGHT THOSE EELS!"  Blitz shouts while throwing the arrow into the table close to Moxxie

ten minutes later you watched the fire fighters come out of the building with the electric eels, thankfully they had also put out the fire, the smoke had finally stopped billowing out. Loona was leaning on the building looking at her phone, you and Millie were holding hands and Moxxie was next you. The three of you were watching Blitz waving at the new client.
