Chapter 12: The Demon Duel

The four of you arrived at the first floor. Loona had a scared and self conscious look.

"Do you think they saw me? Fuck I did my make up shitty today." Loona asked as she judged herself. Moxxie walked forward not caring about the conversation, Blitz looked at his adopted daughter with a smile. You stared down at Loona, all the while she still carried the self conscious look.

"Aww, you look perfect Loonie, like always." Blitz said in a sweet voice, he walked up and snuggled up to Loona slightly we were walking to the office. She just growled and rolled her eyes, giving Blitz an angry glare. 

"UGH, Shut up da-" Loona said but cut herself off as Blitz immediately came up to Loona, with a childish look. Loona was slightly startled by this, but quickly growled again pushing him away.

"Blitz" She continued, after pushing him back she starts looking at herself in her little make up mirror that women always use. I concerned look on her face. Due to her not looking where she was going she crashes into Vortex, the hellhound that y'all had met earlier. The larger hound wasn't affected by Loona's body in anyway he stood their without moving an inch. Loona unstuck herself from the mans giant arm.

"Oh, woah." She said as she looked up at the giant hellhound, Vortex turns his head gazing down at her, his emotions or intentions unknown. Moxxie was making a face, while Blitz was thrilled to see Loona talking with someone, until he realized it was Vortex, to which his expression turned into one of shocked rage. Loona was staring up at Vortex, her tail was slowly wagging behind her, yep she definitely liked this man. Blitz however was instant to react, quickly running up and putting his smaller body in between Loona and Vortex. Loona made a slightly surprised expression.

"Alright big man, where's your bitch bag of an employer?" Blitz snarled aggressively, being very overprotective of his daughter. Vortex looked down at Blitz a brow slightly raised, but his expression was calm and relaxed.

"She's in her office. There wasn't room on the second floor so they rented a room on this on here... cheaper." Vortex said while he half presented the room with one arm, his calm tone and expression never changing.

"OH COME ON!" Blitz shouts angrily. Vortex scoffs, a small smile on his face.

"Sorry man." Vortex said calmly, he turned around walking off, a small smirk present. Loona gazed back at him through the corner of her eye, smiling gently, which faded away as he advanced else where. Blitz maintained his angry look, Moxxie still having a confused and raised brow stare.

"Oh no you don't bitch." Blitz stated as he glared.

"Sir, how about you let me go in and try to reason with her, I don't re-" Moxxie started, you quickly stopped listening, his voice becoming irritating white noise. Loona scowled down at him.

"Moxxie, Shut the fuck up." Blitz snarls, he still maintained his glare, Loona stared up at the ceiling clearly irritated by Moxxie's blabbering. Moxxie quickly started advancing to the door.

"Alrighty then." Moxxie said as he turned and walked toward the doors. He pushes open the double doors which had VM spray painted on the door. The conversation was muffled, multiple succubus shadows could be seen starting to approach Moxxie. Screeches rung out from the room, you started approaching the room, while Blitz ran up to the window. 

"Moxxie don't let her access any of your holes!" Blitz shouted as he pressed his face against the window. Moxxie quickly burst out of the doors causing you to stop, he quickly used his body to slam the door shut behind him. His panting was heavy and ragged. He was covered with scrapes and lipstick marks. He started walking off a exhausted look engraved on his face.

"I gotta go lie down, know" Moxxie panted hard, barely getting the words out before collapsing on to the floor with a thud. Blitz on the other and watched him with a raised brow. He quickly grew angry after his friend collapsed.

"Oh this won't stand!" Blitz shouts, he kicks the door open which most likely caught the succubus's attention. You didn't care though. You quickly opened the door to the office and lied down on a couch waiting for your workmates to arrive. Your eyes started to feel heavy, you sighed and gave in to sleep.

Screams, all you could hear was screams, your eyes snapped open. It was so dark, you couldn't see a foot in front of you. You stumbled forward, trying to get to the screams. You start coughing a revolting odor becoming evident. You scrunched up your nose and pressed forward, the closer you got to the screams the worse the smell got. You banged into something, it was hard. You felt around realizing it was a door. Opening the door a blinding light obstructed your view, you step back the light piercing your eyes, threatening to blind you if you didn't look away. You look for a moment, to see a human, a human you'd never seen before running at you. A rage filled expression their face, in their hand was an axe. Sharp and deadly, they jumped up and began to swing down at you, for some reason you were filled with fear, you screamed shielding yourself with your arms. You jolt up, grunting as you do so, you felt exhausted and were sweating profusely. Everyone else was at the table and Blitz was discussing some sought of plan. Loona was actually contributing for once. "I can blend in". She re states raising her hands.

You get up and start walking over to Millie, your footsteps are loud and thunderous, making it feel like the whole building is shaking. She glances at you, a warm smile decorating her face.  Moxxie on the other hand was more focused on the fact that Loona had a human disguise. "Wait, wait, wait, You have a human disguise?" Moxxie pointed at her as well.

Loona just looked at the three imps with a raised brow. "Yeah don't you?" The three imps had a wide eyed, closed mouth look, all looking at each other quickly. Loona quickly frowned, her face scrunching up, which clearly revealed her frustration. "You four have been fooling around on earth this whole fucking time without human disguises!?"

She loomed over the table, her menacing glare never faltering. You cough quickly grabbing everyone's attention. "Uhh I do have a human disguise"

Loona gives off a annoyed yet deadpan look, Blitz quickly out stretches his arms while shouting "Ok new plan!"

Everyone stared a Blitz while he quickly grabbed a piece of paper, scribbling on it. He slapped the drawing on the drawing board, presenting it with his left hand. "Loonie can help lure the humans to us, and we'll take care of the rest, kay, how bout that?" 

Blitz out stretches his arms slightly, looking around the table with a grin. Moxxie looked annoyed, Millie looked happy. "Flawless logic" Millie grinned happily.

"I think your missing the biggest issue sir, isn't crucial to have a client, who demands enough kills to win this bet. We aren't just going up to massacre!" Moxxie snarls, going through various faces of anger and annoyance. Each one angrier than the last.

Blitz quickly turned his gaze upon Moxxie, a sly and evil smile spreading on his face. "I got that covered Mox"

You, Blitz, and Moxxie had sprinted downstairs and out onto the streets of imp city. You and Moxxie both followed Blitz, curious as to what he was going to do. Blitz quickly found a pole to stick a hand drawn advertisement flyer, detailing 50% off for spring break kills. Blitz confidentally walked back up to you and Mox, a smile spreading on his red and white face. "Know we wait." He stated, still sporting the happy grin.

Moxxie just sighed and pinched the bridge of hi nose. "Sir there is no way we are going to get enough clients by the end of the day with one, horribly spelt, bad grammar flyer" he snarled. 

You just stood their watching the two of them. You looked behind you for a brief moment to see many demons approaching. The sound of there pitter patter footsteps quickly becoming audible. Moxxie and Blitz both turned around to where the flyer was, seeing a long line of demons staring at the flyer. Blitz laughed with a cheeky grin, elbowing Moxxie lightly, who looked to the side annoyed. "Know who's first?" Blitz asked ready to take on as many jobs as possible to take down his ex girlfriend.
