It's a nice summery night and Siyeon is just making some dinner for everyone. As she's marinating the meat, she can feel a pair of hands wrapping around her.
"Hey there, sweetie. Whatcha doing?" He asked.
"I'm cooking for all of us." She replied.
"Are you sure you don't need help? Bceause serving 9 members can be a bit of a hassle." He said.
"Chill. If I can handle 7, then I can hndle two more to the palette." She said, "But if you really want to help, you can check if my skewers are ready and then you can carry the meat outside once it's all done."
"Yay!" He replied like a little kid.
She giggled as the meat is finally marinated and she set it to the side.
Meanwhile, the boys are waiting impatiently for their food. A low tummy grumble can be heard and all eyes have turned to Yunho as he held it.
"I'm sorry, guys. That was me. I'm just so hungry." Yunho apologized.
"Don't be. We're all are and I don't think I can stand it any longer." Mingi said.
"Yeah, me neither. If I don't get something to eat right now, I'm totally going to straught rabid on someone." Wooyoung replied.
"Don't you usually do that?" Yeosang asked as he rubbed his tummy.
Wooyoung thought for a moment and tilted his head to the sight, knowing he's right. Then, she came into the room and saw all of them wasting away. What makes things more to the point is that Yunho's stomach grumbled again.
"Jeez Yunho, I can hear your stomach grumbling." She said.
"We all can." Jongho replied.
"I can't help it. My stomach is just craving me to feed it." Yunho replied.
"Well, tell your tummy to get ready because dinner is finally ready!" She said.
The hungry boys yelled in excitement and they all headed outside, ready to feast themselves.
They all sat the table as they looked at all the different sides of meat, drinks and even some veggies.
"Hey, who even brought the salad out?" San asked.
"Salad and veggies are important for us, you know. Besides, how else are we going to wrap the meat with?" Jongho asked.
"That's a good point." Hongjoong replied.
They began to eat the meat and sounds of smacking lips and munching can be heard from all angles.
"So, I've heard that you girls will be going to tour very soon." Jongho replied.
"Yeah, this is going to be our first tour ever for us, so we're super nervous. Of course, we'll going to miss you guys a lot, but at the same time, we've always wanted to see what the rest of the world looks like so...." She said.
"It gives off a bittersweet feeling." Hongjoong finished her sentence, making her nod.
"Man..... how long are you going to be on tour for?" Yeosag asked.
"In 7 months." She said.
"Wow..... wait a minute, that means.... we're not going to spend christmas together?" San asked.
"Well, who knows, we might make it back before christmas comes." She assured him.
"You know something came up on my mind recently." Wooyoung said.
"What?" Hongjoong asked.
"How come they are always episodes where they showcase serious topics in the world in a kids show?" Wooyoung asked.
"What do you mean?" Yunho asked.
"Like you know that bullying is never right, but yet, whoever is behind the show thought it would be a good idea to use that in a kids show!" Wooyoung explained.
Everyone agreed as they yell out in disgust and agreement.
"Like jeez, come on!" Wooyoung said.
"That's why there's a time for everything. We'll learn about bullying in our own way, not by a damn kid show! Who wants to teach people under the age of twelve about something like that?" Mingi asked.
"And let's not forget people who are anti-romantics. I don't even know why they even exist in this world." She said.
"Yeah, like.... 'Oh, love is gross.' or 'Ew, that's disgusting.'" Mingi rolled her eyes.
"You guys are not like that when we're all snuggly, right?" San asked referring to himself and her.
"Of course not, we really don't care. Besides, we;re very proud of you both." Hongjoong replied, "And Gahyeon and Wooyoung too. Speaking of which, how is she doing?"
"A very nervous wreck. She told me that she's worried about meeting Wooyoung's best friends." She said.
"How come?" Wooyoung asked.
"Because she doesn't know how to approach to them, that's how come." She said.
"There's nothing to be afraid of them. Sure, we're a chaotic bunch, but we're all very friendly people who has the passion to dance. I remember the time that we all met back in 2021 MAMA. Oh my gosh, you guys should have been there." Wooyoung giggled.
"Really? What happened?" Seonghwa asked.
"We're all just qwizzing around the stage with those wheely things, we had a mini football match and even had a race. Overall, I'm glad I've got myself some good friends that I can trust outside this group." Wooyoung said.
The group ate and ate played outside before going back in. She was about to put the dishes away when San stopped her.
"Please, let us. I think it's going to take forever for you to clean all of these." San said.
"Well, if you say so." She smiled.
