Chapter 5: I can hear her

- This chapter will have hallucinations such as Tsukasa seeing / hearing Saki despite her being dead.

As Tsukasa cries infront of his sister's grave, rain continue to pour out in which made Tsukasa wet... He didn't want to leave yet, he still wanted to stay.

He wants to be with his sister.

As for everyone else, they are in a room; Saki's farewell party. It didn't even looked like one, it was rather silent — seeing everyone quietly staring around each other.

By one side, Honami looks at her friends and decided to try to speak up to start a conversation; Ichika talks back and talked to Honami about all the memories they had with Saki as kids. Shiho on the other hand was silently listening to her friends with Shizuku patting her as comfort.

The other side has the two partners from BAD DOGS, Akito and Toya. The two seems silent but Akito knows that his partner, Toya isn't feeling really well due to a friend's death, not to mention; a sister figure.

By the corner, you'll see two girls comforting each other, Nene and Emu — they give each other pats and spent time a bit together by conversations, it smoothens Emu's mood, as well as Nene. Rui on the other hand stared at the window; seeing the rain pour out and noticed that Tsukasa was still by the grave.

"... Tsukasa-kun, you're probably soaked up wet by now." Rui thought in his head.

The rain kept pouring and pouring, it was getting harder rather. Tsukasa still stayed by the grave and talked to it. "Saki.. What can I do without you?"

"Join me, brother."

Tsukasa's eyes widen as he hears a familiar voice, it sounded like Saki's. But... Saki's dead. — He tried to shake his head and kept hearing Saki's voice.

"Brother... I am sorry for leaving you.."

"N-No... I shouldn't be hearing you...." Tsukasa said, with a terrified tone. "Saki's gone! There's no way I could still.."

Tsukasa held onto his head, trying to think about what's happening; looking around the area, only seeing Saki's grave — she isn't there but... He can hear her.

"How can I hear Saki?! She's... She's not here anymore! Unless... I'm just hearing things? Yes, I am just hearing things I shouldn't be hearing. Saki is at peace now.." Tsukasa thoughts to himself, it seems that he is at the point of having a breakdown.

"Tsukasa, brother..."

Saki's voice on Tsukasa's head began to fade off, in which slightly calms him down in a way. "Saki... I miss you already... But, why can I hear you?"

As Tsukasa stays still by the same area; an umbrella appeared above him, apparently, it was Rui holding the umbrella. Rui looked at him and chuckled a little "Tsukasa-kun has been in the rain for so long, you'll catch a cold~"

"Rui..." Tsukasa said, feeling calmed down, somehow.

"Fufu~ let's go, Tsukasa-kun... We need to get in with everyone and dry you up." Rui smiled as the two boys went on their way to the penthouse.

Although... Tsukasa slowly looks back on the grave and sees a blurry figure of a girl with pigtails; Saki.

"... Why do I see or hear you, Saki?"

It's been days since Saki's funeral, it's now May XX. As Tsukasa prepares for school, he always goes and check on Saki's room, cleaning it and making it sure it's safe (but he can still hear/see Saki).

Tsukasa leaves his house, going to school like usual. Having his classes and of course, seeing his friends during break.

There's a junior of Tsukasa and a friend of Rui named Mizuki! They hopped on Tsukasa's back and chuckled, "Yahoo~ Tsukasa-senpai!! How are you? Do you have any plots or plans with Rui today?"

Tsukssa gasped and tried doing an amazing pose "Hmm, why that is a secret, Akiyama! This future star doesn't give any spoilers!" He said in his usual, prideful tone. "Oh and me and Rui are not going to blow up the school!"

"Hahaha! Tsukasa-senpai, I didn't say you two were going to do that unless..." Mizuki grinned, teasing his senior. "We are not!" Tsukasa said.

"Anyways~ have you seen Rui around, Tsukasa-senpai? I haven't seen him today." Mizuki asked as Tsukasa thought of this as well. "Unfortunately not, Akiyama. Maybe he's doing his usual shenanigans."

As Tsukasa answers Mizuki, he also thought of where is Rui...

"He hasn't seen him much today. Usually, the two would be together during breaktime and have their usual chances of detention but today is different. It's unusual. Where is Rui?"

"Oiiii, Tsukasa-senpai?" Mizuki said repeatedly until Tsukasa stopped zoning out.

"Ah, sorry Akiyama. I just don't know where Rui is right now." Tsukasa answered as Mizuki nodded.

"It's okay! Thanks~" they waved goodbye and thought to themself.

"Senpai looks worried."

My exams were done last week but I couldn't write continuously because I'm currently sick! Anyways, thanks for reading this fanfic of boredom of mine. 💚
