Chapter 3: Reunion

The two boys were standing by the rooftop, Rui was looking down and was holding his own wrist... Tsukasa in the other hand was looking at Rui, he felt nothing but concerned seeing his friend doing this.

"What's wrong, Rui?" Tsukasa asked in a concerned tone.

Unfortunately, Rui didn't answer Tsukasa at all, he kept silent. Tsukasa sighed as he gently touched Rui's hand that was holding the wrist - he grabs Rui's hand and gave it a little kiss; Rui blushes. "Tsukasa-kun...?"

Tsukasa kept holding Rui's hand and gave him a soft look "You know... I can't really stop you from hurting yourself, Rui.. I'm telling you this; you don't have to!" Rui kept silent but blush from Tsukasa's touch and soft expression. "I knew you'd say that, Tsukasa-kun.."

"Of course you do, you're Rui after all!" Tsukasa shouted as he switch to calming down "But Rui, I swear... If there is something you want to do or even talk about.. you have me."

The sun started to set and yet the two boys were still at the rooftop - looking at each other. "Well... You see, I do want to tell you something.." said Rui as Tsukasa looked surprised. "What is it, Rui?"

"Since I was cut off last time by Emu-kun shouting 'wonderhoy'... Guess I can tell you now.." Rui smiled and he looked deeply into Tsukasa's eyes. "Tsukasa-kun, I-"

"What are you two doing?"

Rui's words got interrupted by Nene entering the Rooftop entrance. - Tsukasa held a grip on Rui's hand, pretty much pissed because Rui got interrupted...again.

Nene observes the two boys, she sees Rui and Tsukasa being so close to each other, in addition to this; Tsukasa was holding Rui's hand. "Hmm, I guess you two are gay after all.." Rui blushed sightly as Tsukasa blushed all red, pretty much embarrassed. "NENE WHY YOU-"

Nene shrugged as she walks forward to the rooftop, having Emu behind her. "Hello everyone!" Emu says in a exciting tone, "I miss you all!! Also... I'm sorry about last time but okay, we can still hang out!"

The four are all together by the rooftop, it looks like they're all happy... Tsukasa sighed heavily as he slightly looked at Rui's face - he still seems worried on the cuts he (Rui) has on his wrist.

"Okay, let's get going!!" Emu shouted as she pulls Nene and went out of the door for the Rooftop exit. Tsukasa and Rui on the other hand stayed silent for a few seconds.

Tsukasa proceeded to gently hold Rui's hand and smiled "Hey, Rui... After this.. Let's go to my house. I'll take care of that..." Rui blushes and smiled gently; the two walk as they exit the rooftop along with Emu and Nene. - the four decided to hang out by going the Main street and buy their favorite taiyaki.

"E-Emu! You're going to make a mess again.." Nene says as she wipes Emu's cheek with a tissue. "Thank you, Nene-chan!!" Emu excitedly said, causing Nene to blush a lot. - As Rui and Tsukasa eat their taiyaki; Rui chuckles.

"Fufu~ I see two love birds..." Rui said in a way that Nene could hear him. Nene blushed even more "Shut up, Rui..!"

"Aren't you two already dating, Emu? Nene?" Tsukasa grinned as Emu smiles brightly "Uh-huh, we started dating weeks ago! Nene was the one who conf-" Emu's words got cut off because of Nene covering her mouth with her hand and giving her a quick kiss on the cheek.

The four enjoys their taiyaki as night comes... A few hours later, Emu was already picked up by her bodyguard. As the the four waved goodbye - Nene invited Rui to walk home together but Rui told her to go home first since he'll still hang out with Tsukasa.

As Nene walks home, the two boys walk the other way; going to Tsukasa's house... As soon as they arrive, Tsukasa greets his parents and brought Rui to his room, taking out the first aid kit and treat the cuts on Rui's wrist.

"Rui... I'm really sorry about what happened... Please, don't do this again.. you can talk to me anytime." Tsukasa said, in a really worried tone. Rui sighs as he smiled, patting the blonde boy's hair - "Don't worry, Tsukasa-kun. I'm alright..."

The two continues to hang out together in Tsukasa's room, hey shared laughs and other topics they could share. Rui even thought of another invention on where he could hear Tsukasa's voice even when he's away; Tsukasa shouted, "You're not experimenting me again!" Rui chuckles so hard, even tears of laughter came out of Rui's eyes.

A few hours later...

Tsukasa fell asleep, having his head on Rui's shoulder. Rui blushes a bit from feeling this, having his friend close like this...

Rui has been thinking silently.

"Tsukasa-kun, I don't know how words would describe how thankful I am... I met Emu, I met Nene way back then, we had a Troupe and yet.. we're still together as friends. I... How can I describe it? I love you, Tsukasa-kun.. But, I might not be here until the end of the year... I- I want to tell you how I feel...before I leave this World.. Before I...

End my very own life."
