Sophie's POV
No this could not be happening. How did a sleepover turn into a massive fight? Millions of thoughts swirled through my mind. Right now, Elwin and the the rest were patching things up and attending to Biana. Her pale and lifeless face reminded me of Keefe's back in Loamnore. I had to finish the fight once and for all. I could not let the Neverseen hurt my friends and family again.

Well just as we seemed to calm down, I noticed that something was off. No...someone.. That's when it hit me — Dex! Where was he? ( A/N yea um don't hate me for this but I personally love Dex too just that I haven't given him a big role for this story yet sooo) Realisation Hit me like a bucket of icy cold water— the Neverseen took him! "Guys!! Dex is missing we have no right to be calm!" I seriously could not believe that we had forgotten about him.

As for the rest, welll Everyone flew into a panic. Marella was hysterically crying as everyone else was in pure shock. How could this happen? And for the first time ever we didn't know what to do!

Dex's POV
The last thing I remember was during the fight with the Neverseen,a cloth being wrapped around my mouth and then the sickeningly sweet smell of sedatives entered my system . Darkness washed over me and I could remember no more.

Back to the present, I'm pretty sure I was in a warehouse and it looked pretty big too. "Well hello hello if it isn't my little junior..." A familiar voice emanated from behind. Too familiar. Anger surged through my soul ," I trusted you! We did everything together ! Why did you betray us?!" The person walked in front of me but to my surprise she wasn't the tall red headed person I used to know. Instead she hid under a long black robe with the symbol of an eye on her sleeve. "Well Dex, address me will you? I have a name you know ? And that's Tinker! Actually that's not my name now is it, it's Trix and yes I do have a second ability!" (A/N okay I know Tinker is most probably not Trix and is not a guster but for the sake of my story pls just read on)

Right on cue, he let out a sleeping gas and swirled it with his ability. The world turned fuzzy and everything was a blur. And just like that the world turned to black .

Hellooo guys! Sorry if this chapter is short. I felt that I should publish something within this week and since I promised a long chapter there will be a part 2 to this but for now pls accept this short chapter :)
