Chapter 2 - I think I kinda like you

Tam's POV

It was just a regular day. Linh and Wylie acting shyly around each other, Linh cooing at princess purryfins, etc... I mean why were they acting shyly? They got along but then recently they got shy around each other. Then it hit me, they were probably crushing on each other. Well, I guess Wylie might be the only person that I'd let Linh date... And speaking of crushes...a pair of sparkling teal eyes flashed in my eyes. But that pair of eyes were unmistakable. Biana's eyes.

You see ever since the day I met her, I thought she was nice. After nightfall, I felt myself blushing whenever I got too close to her. Aaaand now...I wasn't sure. I thought it was just a silly crush but and thought it would fade away but nope! it's still there. Her teal eyes, I could stare at them all day-wait Tam don't act like a pervert!, I thought. Then, I heard my imparter ring.

Upon looking at the caller's name, I could feel my cheeks becoming hotter. I wonder why would she need to hail me as I answered, "H-hello?" "Hi Tam!! I was wondering if you could come to a sleepover today at 5.00pm today!" She chirped. " S-sure! I guess I'll let Linh know." By then I'm pretty sure that the pinkish hue on my face could rival one of Sophie's blushes. "hey Biana! has Sokeefe sailed yet?". I said. "Well with Sophie's obliviousness I'm guessing it might take awhile...but we are playing truth or dare so hopefully we can get some stuff outta her!" She replied.

I blushed and nodded," Well then see you then!" "see you!" she smiled and blushed then clicked off the imparter. Wait blushed?! She's probably just blushing because she's excited doesn't that happen all the time?, I thought to myself. I shook my head and went to Linh's room and said," hey Linh! Biana invited us over to Everglen later at 5.00pm for a sleepover!" "yay! I'll get packing right away! also...be sure to dress to impress!" she smirked smiling. Dress to impress? what did Linh mean? did she know about my crush on Biana. Then it dawned on me, she was playing matchmaker! At this point my face was already nuclear. 

So I went to the pool and dunked my head in to cool off when Tiergan saw me and got the shock of his life. "T-tam?! Are you okay? did you just know that you dunked your head into the pool???" He said rapidly. I turned to look at him and replied," Y-yes..." "Wait, is this about Biana? Do you like her?" he asked quizzically. Gah! Even Tiergan knew!! How?! Was I that obvious?! So, I nodded subtly. That one small head movement made Tiergan shriek," I ship!!"  Then he took off. I was taken aback. Tiergan screamed like a little girl. I shuddered.

I headed back to my room only to find a smirking Wylie on my bed. "So...I heard from Sophie that all three of us are invited to a sleepover at Everglen. And she gave me a few details that...you don't need to know!" he smiled slyly. I was shock. why was people acting so weird nowadays? "What do I not need to know?" I asked. "I won't tell you it's better if you find out on your own and when you do you'll thank me for not telling you, your welcome!" He winked. With that he ran down the hallway to his room. 

I sat there wondering what he meant. I was puzzled.I checked the time on to wall clock. 4.00pm. An hour until the sleepover. I began packing. All that I was looking forward to was to see Biana. The way she walked. How she was graceful and all. I had a silly crush on her and I knew she would never like me back. she was a Vacker. High and noble. I was  a wayward banished a shade and disregarded by my own parents. I quickly changed into a set of black pants nd a black hoodie and checked the time.

The time now was 4.50pm. Time to go, I thought. I picked up my bag and yelled across the hallway," LYLIE! TIME TO GO!" I still couldn't believe they didn't react about the fact that i said 'Lylie' and not 'Linh and Wylie'. oh well...anyways we went up to the leapmaster and yelled," Everglen!" then my heart bore a feeling of intense excitement and blissfulness. 

As we stepped into the light, my mind flashed to all the memories with Biana and I. I blushed as i thought, I think I kinda like you, Biana. Then the feathery light whisked us away.
