He gets up from the ground
then pats the space beside
him.
I sit beside him
and hand him the water bottle that
I found on the bench beside the door.
San: "why didn't you tell me
that you were coming"
"it's called a surprise"
He rolled his eyes
then brought the bottle to his lips
and chugged the water down.

He asks as he closes the bottle.
"do you want me to? "
He doesn't say anything
but wraps his arms around me
making me scrunch my face in disgust.
"yuck-
go showerrrrrr
you're so sweaty"
San: "tch"
He gets up and leaves
with me following closely behind.
San: "are you going to follow me into the shower too?"
He questions when he gets into the bathroom.
"oh sh-
sorry"
I get out the bathroom
and lie down on his big fluffy bed.
