Author POV
The sound of soft snores
filled the calm room with the sun
peeking through the curtains to
provide it with the littlest amount of
sunlight to illuminate the dark room.
The door slowly opened and little giggles were heard as they
got onto the bed before quietly
counting down in unison.
Haewon/Minjun/Sooyun: "MERRY CHRISTMASSSSS"
They yell as they jump on their parents
bed before falling on the
half awake couple.
Haewon: "don't forget that
we're making gingerbread cookies,
Okay"
Sooyun: "and opwening
pwesents"
Minjun: "and singing
christmas songs"
Miyoung smiled at her kids
tiredly as she nodded before telling
them to go so that they can get ready.
The moment the door closed Miyoung
turned to San and found him with
his eyes closed.
She slowly brought her hand to his
face then silently giggled when her
index finger made contact with
his soft cheek.
After a few minutes of admiring
her sleeping husbands beautiful features, she sat up and
gasped in surprise when
she felt herself being pulled
back down with no warning.
San: "where are you going"
He asked his voice husky and irregular sending a ton of butterflies to awaken
in her stomach.
Miyoung: "to get ready then
attend to the kids"
She says as she turns to
face him.
San hummed then pulled her
closer to him and closed his eyes
again.
Miyoung: ".. baby please
let me go"
San: "zZz"
Miyoung: ".."
They stayed in the bed in the
conforts of each others
arms before the sudden open of
their door made them jolt up
and pretend to do something.
Miyoung: "yes?"
Haewon: "just making sure
you weren't sleeping, Bye-"
She closed the door and San let out a breath that he didn't even know he was holding before sitting on the bed.
San: "well that was oddly scary"
He admits as he pats his racing
heart to try and calm it down.
Miyoung nodded in agreement
and let out a little laugh after
realizing that they just got scared
by their own daughter as she
made her way to him.
Miyoung: "now get up before
she comes again"
San looks up at her with a small pout
that made her want to buy
him all the video games in the world
before getting up and following
her to the bathroom.
