I rush towards her and embrace
her in a hug as my tears finally escape
realizing that this is real
and not a dream.
Areum: "M-miyoung-ahh"
She cups my face as she looks
at it before clasping her hand
over her mouth.
Areum: "it really is you"

She hugs me tightly as she sobs

I had just finished telling
her what had happened
and let me say-
she was so close to marching up
to the hospital and suing them but I managed to calm her down.
We are now catching up on

Mom stayed for another
four hours before leaving saying that

I let her go mentally sighing
in relief when she put her hand down.

I think smiling as I wave at her.

Mom: "mhm, take care of yourselves, okay"
San/me: "okayy"
Mom: "next time i come
i want to see children running around"

San suddenly carries me
making my eyes go wide.
